Into Darkness: The Children of D'Hara, episode 5

Wie jedes Buch von Terry Goodkind habe ich auch dieses hier sehr gerne gelesen. Er ist so ein phantastischer Autor und ich liebe seine Bücher so sehr! Ich habe so viele Emotionen gefühlt, während ich dieses Buch gelesen habe und es hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Was ein wunderbares Ende für die "Children of D'Hara"-Reihe! Kann ich bitte mehr als 5 Sterne geben? Like every book by Terry Goodkind I read this book with a lot of pleasure. He is a phantastic author and I love his books so much! I went through a whole lot of emotions while reading this book. It definitely met my expectations. What a wonderful ending for the "Children of D'Hara" books! Can I give more than 5 stars, please?

Into Darkness is the final book in the Children of D'Hara series as well as Richard and Kahlan story. Its supposed to be a novella but the fifth book is really big, like more than 600 pages. Kahlan pregnancy doesn't go very well and Richard must find a rare flower called Mother's breath. After finding it there's still the Glee problem and the Golden Goddess. He need to take Kahlan to the Keep first to protect her and their unborn childrens but Kahlan got kidnapped by witches and Shota. After finding Kahlan back and finally reaching the Keep a lonely Glee names Sang want to talk to Richard. Sang doesn't want to fight and the Golden Goddess and her followers don't included all the Glee. Don't want to spoil to much so I will stop there. I have really loved this serie and the SoT series too. Richard and Kahlan are some of my faves characters from fantasy books and I will miss them. Wish there will be books about they're childrens but since unfortunatly, Terry Goodking passed away not long ago, I know this won't be possible but I still have two more book from The Nicci Chronicles to read.

Very enjoyable read, hard to put the book down

This THICK volume wraps up the CHILDREN OF D’HARA storyline (there are five volumes total). The format of the book is handsome, and I loved carrying this around while I was reading. The design and paper stock are beautiful. I don’t want to give anything away, but I found the ending very satisfying. Goodkind kept me guessing as to what was going to happen. The plot moves pretty fast and I would describe this as a real page turner. There is body count... a major character... I will tease that. Don’t read this until you’ve read the preceding four. And it certainly helps to be familiar with the Sword of Truth series because this takes place in a very established and excellent series. New to it? Read WIZARD’s FIRST RULE. Longtime fans... if you don’t have the CHILDREN OF D’HARA series.... what are you waiting for??
