Is each drape 42" wide? I don't think so judging by the photo but I just thought I would ask.

I think they are. We have them on an 84 inch wide window and they fit just fine, but they are pulled pretty straight- they don't have the pleating shown in this photo. My son loves them!

Are they at all room darkening? My son is an extremely light sleeper once any light comes through (hard to get him down for naps even).

Absolutely great!
