Dewalt DWHT74428 8-inch and 10-inch Pushlock Pliers Set

Perfect for a birthday gift, good quality, easy to use

Initially I didn’t like the push lock but after using them for a while I really like the feature most of the time. It’s not quite as fast to adjust as normal channel lock pliers but they seem to hold its adjustment much better. The handle grips feel durable and are a nice size making it easy to hang onto. They may not be the most heavy duty pliers but they feel very durable and feel very strong for its size. The teeth in the jaws grips onto items nicely and so far has not shown any signs of wear. I’m a fan of most Dewalt tools and these haven’t disappointed me once I got used to using the push lock feature.

DeWalt tools are incredibly well-made, with great materials and an excellent price point. A fantastic purchase for anyone looking to invest in a single, reliable set of tools.

Takes some getting used to the pushlock design but once you do one of the more secure pliers I've used. Barely any slippage when fully secure. Also great for retracting non-twist caliper pistons really really fast without needing to go grab the usual tool for them.

Quality tools at bargain prices

I could really do without the button. Seems like I spend more time messing around with that thing and I do using the pliers.

These are very easy to use. My 3-year-old can use them. Quality built as usual.

Great feeling pair of pliers for a good price. I got them on sale for around $20. The push button mechanism works really well. I like that they can be adjusted with one hand easily. The adjustment notches are very small and feel solid providing fine adjustment. My only complaint would be the finish grinding on the end of the jaws visible in the pictures. Overall a nice pair for the money but think the quality control could be better. The package stated made in Vietnam and finished in China.
