I purchased this OTG cable in February ‘17 and it’s still going strong connecting my phone to a Audioquest Firefly Red and Cobalt USB DAC. I like the fact the connection coming out of the phone is a right angle as it puts far less pressure on the socket. I was thinking of picking up a spare just in case but to be honest I don’t think I need one. This is a quality little cable that I would and have recommended.

I sometimes find that OTG functionality doesn't work properly (fails to flip the phone into 'host' mode), but this is fine and moreover the C plug fits fine into my phone with case - some converters don't because the case opening isn't generous enough.
