Astral Realms Crystal Oracle: A 33-Card Deck and Guidebook (Rockpool Oracle)

If you are familiar with Oracle cards from Rockpool you will know that their decks are beautiful. My favorite publisher! And these don’t disappoint. By Leah Shoman & Paige, they have a delicate ethereal feminine energy to them. The artwork is nothing short of stunning and the reverse of the cards show a gold disc with a double terminated clear quartz and a delicate lined border on a cloudy baby pink background. The edges of the 33 cards are embellished with metallic rose gold. Each card has on it a different watercolor painting of a crystal, ( no weird ones you won’t have heard of and most you’ll probably have in your collection if you are a keen collector), the card number, the name of the crystal, its representation and the supporting element (more about that bit in the guide book supplied). The book contains a colour pic of each card and a meaningful message plus an activation guide. Not too much information, just enough. Uplifting and gentle. . The box itself beautiful…a standard quality box with a separate lid, with the same dreamy artwork and colour palette. Top of the box has gloss crystal and moon embellishments. And the rose metallic effect features again in the text and boarder art. The lid and box is lined with dark peach coloured paper with a gold sunburst effect. The cards shuffle nicely, being quality cardstock in a satin effect. These would make a really nice gift, particularly for anyone who is into crystals (obviously!) or who just loves oracle cards that are beautiful and calming to use. Published in 2021, I just can’t believe it’s taken me five years to discover this deck ! My only slight gripe is that the writing on the card is very hard to read especially in low light conditions. I would have liked it to be bolder or darker.

Authentic and stunning to work with

The ethereal artwork really stands out amongst other crystal oracles. The soft pastel colours and cloudy backgrounds give it a dream-like feel. I love the copper gilded edges. The cards combine guidance from both the crystal that's shown plus either astrological, chakra or element associations. The guidebook meanings are spiritual and self-reflective. The astral realms oracle pairs well with other pastel Tarot and oracle card decks. You can use it on its own in spreads or for a single card message to add to another reading. It's ideal for a meditative daily draw or full and new moon readings. You can also use these to select a crystal for the day.

This is a small deck, but the booklet explains a lot. I was expecting more information on energetics, but rather it says how to work with crystal of the card and the ways to engage more mindfully. It has 2-3 pages for each card. The cards are lovely, amazing design, but I found the surface really glittery so it’s hard to take a clear picture of it with the phone. Not sure how I feel about the deck yet.

This is such an dreamy and beautiful oracle deck. The artwork is stunning and the cards are comfortable to shuffle and use.

This is a wonderful deck for anyone who loves oracles and crystals, and preferably is also a little bit into astrology and the chakra system. I love the artwork, the color palette, and the little guidebook is surprisingly useful. I personally use this deck a lot when wanting additional information in a tarot card reading. It adds depth and wisdom from the crystal world. I love it!

This is a really good deck. Most everything about it is fine. The cards are just the right size and weight, and they have a lovely rose-gold edging. The artwork is very soft and easy on the eyes, and the guide book is well written. The only exception to the guidebook is under the picture of each card (which is in color), there's an explanation of the card, and then there's a 2-line message, of which, only a few words are readable. The ink on the words fades out after the 3rd word. This happens with each card description thru out the book. Otherwise, the deck is quite nice.
