When I would turn off the AC in my 2007 Lexus RX350 I would get a mildew smell that would come through the vents. I think its because I never changed the cabin air filter. I purchased this item because Amazon said it would fit my vehicle which it in fact did! I no longer notice the smell so I assume changing the old filter did the trick.
