Miracle-gro Orchid Food, Fertilizer - 8oz

I applied this to 3 orchid plants which have not flowered in the last 9 months or so. It's been 10 days since I added Miracle Gro and already 1 of the 3 has sprouted new buds. I hope the other 2 also soon start sprouting.

So far no adverse effect on my orchids my other acid loving plants seem to like it too, my snake plant started having pups after using this on them!

I got into orchid collecting and growing about six months ago. I found youtube to be a great source of practical and useful information on growing and maintaining orchids. I have several different kinds of orchids such as phalaenopsis and cymbidiums and learned that in order to keep the orchids at their optimum level, I needed to water them once every other week - water the entire root system (do not water the foliage or flowers)until it is saturated and water is spilling over, leave it for a couple of minutes and then remove excess water. The following week, apply fertilizer. This Miracle-Gro fertilizer is in powder form and comes in a plastic packet. It also comes with a measuring spoon. You just have to dissolve a spoonful of the fertilizer into a gallon of water and water the root system. I'm no expert at orchids but I've found this routine has resulted in my orchids blooming longer (the blooms from six months ago still appear fresh) and my orchid plants look healthy (leaves, roots, and flowers). I will continue this routine and observe my orchids over the course of this year to see the long-term results. For now, I'm happy with this fertilizer.

It’s just been a month of use of this product. I am liking it it’s easy to use and comes with measuring spoons makes my life easy. My plants are loving the extra nutrition.
