Noticed a huge improvement!
This is a review for the Supreme Pro Strength version. (White Box - 84 Strips) I have purchased hundreds of products via Amazon without reviewing any of them before but I'm so happy with this product that I have to offer my 2 cents! About Me: I am a 32 year old male. I have always had regular dental checkups every 6 months however I did not brush my teeth enough as a teenager, plus I was a heavy iced tea/soda drinker so I yellowed my teeth quite a bit over the years. I also have very sensitive teeth! A few years back I used the regular whitestrips and they were literally worthless. Couldn't keep them in place and I didn't notice any difference in my teeth. They just were not strong enough. I really didn't stick with them long enough though. I have really hoped to have my baby white teeth back for so long so I started looking into the expensive kits. Many of the reviews on Amazon made it seem like it could be a dangerous and expensive process so I ventured back to Crest and gave them a second chance. How did these things do? Pretty good so far! Well here is my process. 1. Toothpaste! As some reviews state it is a good idea to use a sensitive toothpaste 2-4 weeks prior to using the strips. I used the Crest Pro Health toothpaste and mouthwash twice a day. (The Pro-Health line has had caused very negative reactions with some people due to many side effects. I did not have any brown stains while using it but I did start burning some of the skin from my lips after a week or so of using the product. Still the Pro-Health products REALLY did a great job cleaning my teeth, though they were still yellow. They did feel cleaner than with any other toothpaste I have ever used!) 2. Dentist! I began using the toothpaste/mouthwash mentioned above three weeks before my scheduled checkup. I did this for two reasons. A: If I had any brown staining from the toothpaste it could be removed quickly. B: I wanted my teeth as clean as possible before using the new whitestrips. 3. Whitestrips! (I switched to Sensodyne whitening toothpaste at this point because I was worried about the strips and Pro-Health paste hurting my gums as they are both very strong.) The box states to use the strips twice a day for 30 mins. I do not recommend that at all unless you are a sadist! I was VERY nervous about having sensitive teeth with this product but it really wasn't an issue. I'm sure if people are reading this than they are probably anxious about it as well. My first application was the night of my dental checkup. A. Brush teeth in the morning with Sensodyne and mouthwash. B. Later in the afternoon/evening brush your front teeth with just a wet brush to prepare them, then put the strips on for 30 mins. (I have only used the whitestrips ONCE EVERY OTHER DAY!) C. After 30 mins take them off and rinse out your mouth with warm water. D. Before bed brush your teeth with the sensodyne again. Application: Getting these things on is tricky the first few times. Start with the top first as the strip is longer and not as much of a pain. Center the strip in the middle and then work it around until you have it at your gum line even all the way around. Repeat the same process with the bottom strip. I will admit the bottom strip just doesn't want to sit in place and wrap as nicely as the top, at least not for my teeth. That's the only negative to the product to me, however they give you so many in the box you could always use the extra top strips on the bottom if you wanted. (Tip: When you have the strips on gently use a toothpick on your teeth to seat the strips on the little areas between your teeth. You want the solution to touch all of the visible parts of your teeth to whiten them.) Results: Sensitivity - I had a little sensitivity the day after my second application. Just a wiggling feeling to my front teeth but nothing to worry or complain about. Sensitivity means they are working. Since then I have gotten used to the process and have not had a single problem. I don't feel anything really. I might even be able to use the strips once every single day now but I'm not pushing my luck. White - I have used only seven sets of strips so far! First Set: Didn't really notice any results Second Set: Still no results Third Set: Teeth do look a little less yellow Set Four: Noticing the top teeth have lost a lot more of the yellow Set Five: Top teeth have lost 80% of the yellow, bottom teeth around 50$ but still yellow near the bottom gum lime Set Six: Now we are talking! Top teeth are WHITE! Bottom teeth are about 75$ done Set Seven: Teeth are whiter than ever, still not sparkle white but we are getting there! Teeth feel very smooth as well from the entire process! I don't want to damage my tooth enamel so I am planning to quit using the strips around 12 applications. I honestly could quit at seven and be more than happy but I want to see how white they can get! I have already gotten my money's worth out of these. I can't explain how happy this product has made me. WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY that they ask for it. It gave me back my baby white teeth. :)

The best tooth whitening you can get on a budget
I have used this system twice and have been very satisfied with the results. Please don't let the reviews claiming extreme pain and discomfort scare you-this doesn't happen to everyone to the same degree. I experienced some discomfort, but nothing I had to take medication for, and I didn't need to use Sensodyne, though that sounds like a good idea. I say "discomfort" rather than pain, because it really wasn't that bad-at first, I got little electric shock lightnings zizzing around on my teeth once in a while, so I cut back to applying the strips only once a day and that fixed it. I was then able to go back to twice a day. The only other time I felt anything bad was when too much of the strip was covering my gum area and I felt a burning sensation-I adjusted the strip and that helped. As soon as I took it off, the pain was gone. Yes, your teeth will get a bit sensitive, but this is a normal side effect, and I didn't find it unbearable-more of an occasional annoyance. It will go away after you have finished using the product! My advice to anyone experiencing excessive sensitivity with this product is to cut back to one application a day until the condition improves, then go back to two applications a day. Apply one set in the morning, and the other in the evening-a break between the applications helps. PLEASE don't brush your teeth before applying the strips if they are sensitive-it will make them feel worse, and it really won't make a difference in the final result (according to my dentist). Other pros for me are cost-before using these, I looked into Lumineers and decided that I will have to win the lottery before I can afford them, and I also can't afford whitening at the dentist's. I also like the length of the strips-unless you have an extremely wide, Joker-sized smile, the longer length should work for you. The only real cons for me are that it takes FOREVER to finish the entire regimen, even if you apply the strips twice a day, and also, it really isn't advisable to wear them if you are going to have to talk a lot, as they may cause you to drool (!) and too much movement will cause the strips to slip. I have been very happy with the results-after a week my teeth had already lightened noticeably. I still have two weeks to go and I am thrilled with the way my teeth have whitened. The booklet states that this will not work on tetracycline-darkened teeth, but that isn't strictly true as it vastly improved mine! It is true that it will not lighten dentalwork or fillings. The last time I did this, the results lasted for a full year-I am not a smoker and only occasionally drink red wine or coffee, so that may have had something to do with it. Overall, a product I am very happy with and will continue to use, regardless of the minor discomforts!

Wonderful, effective and affordable product
In the past, I have used whitening strips from the Crest line of products and I found this particular set to be much less irritating to my gum line. I also experienced very little tooth sensitivity as well. The product truly whitened my teeth up to 2 or 3 shades lighter than the original color! When I initially sought a whitening product, I was deterred by the high price range for professional bleaching which is only available through a dentist and I did not want my teeth to look as white as seen on celebrities and models. So, going after a natural look, I gave this brand a shot. Interestingly, I only had to use half of a box (applied the strip only once a day for 30 minutes at a time) and obtained very satisfactory results. Others have commented about how white my teeth are and are thinking about trying the product too. The results are very visible to me when I peruse before and after pictures of my teeth in various photos. This is the second time that I've used this type of strip and find that I have to use them throughout the year (every 4 to 5 months## for touch-ups. The strips are very easy to apply and the instructions are easy to understand. You will find that the strips will slip off of your bottom row of teeth #you simply have to readjust them) and my stomach was a little irritated from the chemicals #this immediately dissipated after I stopped using the strips). I highly recommend this product to others.

Works great, but had to use more strips than I wanted to
I read tons of reviews on Crest Whitestrips Supreme Professional Strength before I purchased them. I have tried SO many over the counter teeth whitening products, and I am searching for something that REALLY works. I have been using Crest Whitestrips Supreme for just over 2 weeks. To begin, be careful of tooth sensitivity, but do not let reviews that claim horrible pain stop you! These strips do not bother me any more than any other strips I've tried. I bought a tube of toothpaste for sensitive teeth to prepare myself. I started using it about a week before using the strips, and have continued to use it while using the strips. I have little to no discomfort. First, I was using them once a day (30 minutes) because I read they are so strong. That did not bother my teeth. The first day I had minor, generalized tooth sensitivity, but that went away. After a few days, I decided to try it twice a day, just to see what it would do. The first time I used it twice a day, I did it once in the morning and once in the evening. I eventually upgraded to using it twice in a row (for an hour) which does cause me tooth sensitivity, but it is bearable. I don't use it twice in a row everyday. I took everyone's advice and I do not brush my teeth before using the strips. Brushing my teeth after works just fine for me. As for sickness from the strips, I do not swallow when I have the strips in. It's annoying, but it works as I don't swallow any of the peroxide. When too much saliva builds up, I gently drain it from my mouth over the sink (yuck, but it works). As for saliva build up making it difficult to keep the strips in place, this is true. That can become a challenge. Do they work? Yes, they do work. It took me about 3-4 days to see a difference. The results were slower and not as good as I was hoping for. After reading so many great reviews, I was hoping to use half the strips and save the other half, because my teeth would be so white I would be able to save them. I have been using them for 15 days, and there really are noticeable results, but I am about to start the second half of the strips because my teeth are not to my desired whiteness. To conclude, be careful about tooth sensitivity but don't let that scare you away from trying these. Just use sensitive teeth toothpaste, and brush your teeth after using the strips. Don't swallow the peroxide! Last but not least, these DO produce results! These do work better than any other whitening strips I've tried. I just wish they would apply Advance Seal technology to these, that would be fantastic. They are also a little pricey, but if they turn out to work as well as people say, it will be worth it. I will update my review when I am finished using the strips to let you know if I've reached my desired whiteness. UPDATE 11/19/10: 7 days later my teeth are still getting whiter, and these strips are working very well. I am much more happy with it now, but still kind of dissappointed I've had to use so many of the strips. UPDATE 12/13/10: I finished the strips awhile ago. I was disappointed I had to use the whole box. My teeth didn't get much whiter after my last update, but there is a differerence from when I first started. Maybe if I didn't drink coffee everyday there would be more of a result. If you have the money for these, I recommend them.

It takes longer for some people, but it works!
I love these strips and love how even though they don't sell them in stores I can still buy them online. First time I used these strips was over 2 years ago which was when I FINALLY found something that actually worked for me and wasn't messy (in my opinion) and annoying like the syringe type which never worked anyway and was a waste of my money. P.S. if you think these strips are messy, try this: avoid too much saliva around teeth when your putting them on. Once you put them on, do not talk or move your mouth. Go lie down on a couch or bed with your head slightly elevated and watch some TV or read a book for the next 30 minutes. And whenever you salivate, swallow. Don't let your saliva get near the strips. Fortunately when I use these strips I notice results in as little as 2 days. Sometimes even one! I know, it surprises me too! I always get compliments on how white my teeth look, even from my dentist's assistants. A little kid once even asked me "why are your teeth so white?" lol and that was a 1-2 years after using the strips! My mom got her teeth professionally whitetened which was a fortune and we barely noticed any difference. She also got some Colgate syringes to use at home to maintain treatment/whiten her teeth even more. I looked at the peroxide percentage and compared it to mine since mine (Crest strips) worked so well for me and was surprised to see these Crest Supreme Professional strips have a higher percentage. She didn't see any difference after using her dentist's syringes and was upset she paid so much forsa treatment that wasn't making any difference. I then told her about my strips and how they were the best things I've tried so far and she decided to give it a try. It took half the box for her to start noticing results. I couldn't understand why because it whitens my teeth after 2 uses (I use it once a day due to sensitivity). She almost gave up before reaching half the box but I convinced her to keep going and keep whitening every day. She's almost done with the box and she's already gotten compliments on how white her teeth look! She will be ordering again. So keep up, guys! It will take longer for some people. But in my own opinion, if you think it's not working, you probably won't find anything else that will work/work faster, it's just a matter of time. So don't lose hope. This stuff works :)

Well worth the money - but be cautious with use!
About two years ago, I used the Crest Pro-Effects strips and was nothing short of please with the results. Several months ago, I bought the Crest Vivid White and was extremely disappointed because I saw absolutely no results after spending $50. So, I started looking to see what is the absolute best product, and from what I found, this was the highest of the high without going to the dentist. I have only used this about 7 times and my teeth are already extremely, extremely white. I honestly noticed a significant difference after the first two uses. It is well worth the money and you will get the results you want with this product. Just keep in mind, this is just short of being prescription strength and they don't need to be used like regular whitening strips. I used them like any other strips, carelessly placing it on my teeth, not worrying about getting a little bit of the actual solution on my gums or inner lips. With these strips, you have to be careful, I can't stress that enough! The only draw back to this product is the hydrogen peroxide, which is the active ingredient in white strips. This product has a higher percent than all the other white strips and need to be worn accordingly with caution. The directions say you can wear the strips up to twice a day, and after the second day of wearing them twice a day, my bottom lip swelled up and looked like I had been punched in the mouth. The swelling was unfortunately pretty noticeable for the next few days. Even after using ice, they swelling didn't go down and lasted two days. After the swelling subsided, I noticed what looked like a kanker sore on the inside of my bottom lip where it had been swollen. I put the strips on again a day after the swelling went down only to wake up to a swollen lip in the exact same place. I found that the reason my lip swelled was because some of the solution from the strips got on my gums and caused a reaction. (To resolve this issue, I purchased Kank-A, which is an OTC mouth pain liquid and can be applied to the inner lips and gums. It helps numb the pain and it also provides an extra layer of protection for your mouth. Right before using the strips, I apply the Kank-A to the area with the kanker sore and any other necessary areas and allow it time to dry. Doing this prevents the whitening solution from having direct contact with the skin, and protects from the worry of having a swollen lip.) These white strips are also very, very potent and caused me extreme sensitivity for the first few uses. After about 5 uses and using only once daily, the sensitivity stopped. (I also purchased Crest whitening toothpaste to help with the sensitivity which could have been a factor in why the sensitivity stopped.) Again, it is a wonderful and powerful product. It's well worth the price and I can guarantee that you will be more than pleased with the results, you just have to take caution when using.

Best Whitestrips Ever
I've been using the Supreme strips for several years, and just ordered my 4th box. While I have never had extremely yellow teeth, these get me back to a perfectly white smile in no time. In fact, I never get through the whole box and end up giving some to friends before they expire. YES, they hurt, but most whitening treatments (especially from your dentist) do. I still get pretty severe burning on my gums when they're on. YES, they slip around a bit. However, with time you'll figure out the best way to wear them so they stay in place. (I've actually learned that putting my clear retainer in after applying them keeps them in place perfectly) I love these things. And hey, they're fairly cheap, they last months for quick touch-ups, and they definitely make your smile whiter. What more could you ask for?

... of Crest Whitestrips and these are by far the worst. While I appreciate the additional peroxide percentage
I've used several varieties of Crest Whitestrips and these are by far the worst. While I appreciate the additional peroxide percentage, which you can definitely tell with use because of the increased gum irritation and tooth sensitivity compared to the lower percentage versions, the overall strip is terrible. It's extremely thin film makes them very flimsy and difficult to both handle and place. I understand that the thinner film allows it to conform better in theory, but the thinness coupled with the fact that every other strip I've used has had very good adhesion qualities once placed and these have practically none, make them exceedingly frustrating to use. The bottom strip is longer than other versions, which in theory is great, more tooth coverage, right? But with it being so flimsy and not adhering to the teeth, the end result is extreme difficulty getting it to stick to my teeth without completely sliding off. This is even after drying my teeth to remove as much saliva as possible prior to placing them. The majority of the time, I end up with wads of film sitting on top of my lower teeth because the film isn't tall enough to wrap all the way over to the bottom of the back tooth, and since it doesn't adhere to the teeth, they just slide up and on top. The top strip is a little better because it's taller and wraps all the way over the teeth front and back. But because of the higher concentration of peroxide, I'm getting a lot of gum irritation compared to the lesser percentage versions. It's a trade-off. Use a lower concentration for a bit longer, or higher concentration and shorter duration. My own personal view after using these for a week is to use the lower concentration for a little longer. The higher concentration will not make your teeth whiter, it will just be a slightly faster process. The bleaching action is a result of overall amount of peroxide contact and duration. So, using a 10% version for a little while longer will yield the same results as this 14% version in a slightly shorter time frame. My opinion is to save the aggravation and use the next level down. You'll get better adhesion, which will actually give you better results since they stay in place better and are easier to handle and place.

definitely makes teeth whiter

Bien.
Les bandelettes du bas sont trop courtes à mon goût et ne couvrent donc pas assez de dents. Dommage, le produit était parfait il y a quelques années. Sinon, le blanchiment fonctionne bien.

Works.
Does exactly what you think it will do; whitens your teeth over time. You only really need half of them; you could sell the rest to your friends. Just make sure you brush your teeth every day; it really does weaken the surface of your teeth. Make sure NOT to do it right before you use the strips, or the substance will have a hard time being effective. Do it sometime after. Search up on google how to effectively use whitestrips. There's quite a few tips. Also you can spit out the residue on your teeth after your 30 minutes with the strips. Bottom line, research, research, research before you buy.

Good product and price
These are the same ones our dental office sells, except much cheaper to buy them here. They work well for whitening without irritating my gums.

Read this before buying..
I regret this purchase, wish I noticed all the good reviews- and any review at that- were from 2 years ago. Been using these day and night for a few days now and see no difference, but have extremely sensitive teeth, have felt pain I’ve never felt before using white strips while these are actually on my teeth. They don’t stay in place, I use trays I have from another kit on top to hold them in place. I thought the strong peroxide meant they work faster but if anything I feel like my teeth look worse? Perhaps because the pores are open from the peroxide absorbing more stains from the foods and drinks I consume. For $65 on sale, I could buy two sets of a different whitening kit. I’ve used a $30 kit from Walmart before and seen results with no sensitivity after a few days. Will continue to use the kit to the end and update if the pain and money (and time.. twice a day for 3 weeks?) is worth it.
