Is this bulb good for outdoor use?

I have one is an outdoor light and it works. And it gets below zero here sometimes in the winter.

If the power goes out, will the light go on when the power comes back?

Yes. From my experiences the lights come on when the power is restored. It defaults to a factory setting. It’s as if you flipped the switch, Removing the power source and then restoring the power. You will have to tell the app or smart device to turn the light(s) to a certain brightness or color. Hope this helps.

If the power to the house goes out and then is restored in the middle of the night, do the lights turn on?

There is a specific setting to determine how these lights handle loss of power (either by flipping the switch manually, or due to power loss) one setting goes to whatever the last know state was (so if it was off when power was cut it would remain off when power is restored.) The other puts it at a default state you have previously set. (So for instance, I set my kitchen bulb to go to 50% light when it power cycles. If I end up in the kitchen without my phone, I can just flip the switch off and on and the bulb will come on to 50% lighting.)

Are these safe to use where they'll get rained and snowed on, possibly iced on?

They are designed for indoor use only, however I have 5 of these in enclosed outdoor lamps and have had no issues. They have been working flawlessly for 3 years. I live in an area where the winters don't get colder than the mid 20's so I can not say how they would do in colder climates.

- Super facil de instalar y configurar - La App es super amigable - Se conecta al WiFi por lo que son economicas pero por lo mismo si llegas a tener muchas lamparas y enchufes puede poner mucha carga a la red - La integracion con Alexa es muy buena - Si se configuran bien es super lindo que las luces se prendan solas al atardecer y vayan subiendo de intensidad solas

Buena iluminación y buena conectividad wifi

TP-LINK es una de las mejores marcas por su rendimiento y su precio. Este foco no es la excepción. La luz ilumina muchísimo al 100% (igual o más que un foco incandescente y más que varios focos ahorradores) tanto así que generalmente uso el foco con el brillo al 50% o al 75%. Con el brillo al 1% es excelente para cuándo te levantas a media noche por un vaso de agua y no quieres encender por completo la luz para no sentir molestia en los ojos. También la configuración es tan simple y rápida que el foco se conectó en menos de 2 minutos. Usarlo con wifi es lo más sencillo del mundo.
