Does this work well for removing fingerprint smudges?

The instructions state that if you have a lot of fingerprints or oil on your lenses, you should use a glasses wet wipe first. Most of the time my glasses need cleaning, though, it's just for some dust or one fingerprint, and Peeps does a great job without needing a wet wipe. I like Peeps more than a traditional glasses wipe. You might need to make a couple passes over your lenses, but it still takes less time than a glasses wipe.

I recently received this pair and after a few uses, it has started actually adding streaks to my glasses when I use them. How do I fix this?

Was informed by a sales rep at the store where I purchase my eye glasses, that when the 'store bought' lens cleansers no longer get my lenses clean, to add a several drops of Dawn dish soap to one cup of warm water (other dish soaps might damage the coatings on your lenses!).

Wet your lenses first.  Dip them in the soapy solution, use your (clean) fingers to wash the lense, rinse it under warm water, and then dry it with a CLEAN lense tissue or cloth.  I do this every several weeks to get rid of the road film that seems to accumulate, which the lense cleaning soultions don't totally eliminate.  YMMV.

When you pull the cap off, it reveals the cleaning apparatus inside. You can read more in the product details, but basically there are two opposing tiny rubbery discs that you line up on either side of your lenses, and gently rub. Your glasses fit in the space between the two discs. Hope that helps.
