It a nice piece just what we needed

I ordered the Extra Fine option after being disappointed by two other julienne slicers being too thick (mandoline version) or too dangerous (hand-held peeler-style). Though I couldn't see that it gave a dimension for the cut, it seems to deliver truly fine 1mm shreds. I think I probably should have bought the slightly less-fine 2mm/0.08inch version, but will be keeping this nevertheless. It was easy to use, and while you need to exercise caution to not catch your skin on the metal, I felt safer using this than the other two products I tried. The bi-directional cutting made for a quick job, and I didn't have to use excessive pressure. Cleanup was as simple as rinsing under the tap, and using my finger to remove one stubborn shred.

Perfect for straw potato fries

Works perfectly for what I wanted it to do. I was trying out Vietnamese papaya salad, and this item julienned the green papayas and carrots perfectly. The size and thickness of the slices was exactly what I wanted for the recipe. Each slice comes to an even 3 inch length. 4 stars because sometimes julienned pieces get stuck in the cutting area and you need to remove them up before slicing more. But in general it’s fairly easy to use and cleaning isn’t too bad. The sponge runs over the cutters pretty easily without snagging.

Used it for the first time! Easy to use without getting injured. Not very thick julienne as I was hoping for but still very nice.

Excellent manufacturer of the product. The quality is excellent. It cuts not into strips, but into a web. For super fine cutting of vegetables, this is the best product. I really liked it.
