It is just one month and too early to give a review. I was using a 2GH one and was always facing connection issues. I have been asked by the internet provider to upgrade to 5GH. It is working fine so far without any issues, 'touch wood".

I had issues with wi-fi receptions in part of my house so I bought a newer/faster TP-Link router but I had issues with an older D-Link & Linksys router in different parts of the house even though I had hardwired to the TP-Link with Cat5e cables. The TP-Link was blocking internet access to the older routers and the app wouldn't give me options on how to troubleshoot/release the ports. I used this switch somewhat different than the instructions indicated. Instead of going from the Satellite modem to the TP-Link router, I went from the Satellite modem to this 8 port unmanaged D-Link switch, then from the switch to the TP-Link router, and tied the D-Link and Linksys directly to the D-Link switch, and all my issues went away. I now have wi-fi everywhere without issue, at excellent speeds for all my devices. It was a cheap and easy fix. My only negative comment is that the nice metal case should have the rubber feet pre-installed, and the power cable should be a meter longer, in my opinion.

I needed a simple gigabit switch that would let me add more wired devices without turning it into a project. This did exactly that. No setup, no app, no fiddling with settings. I plugged everything in and all my devices came up at the speeds I expected.That is really all I wanted from it. It feels like the kind of networking gear you can forget about once it is installed, which is a compliment. If you just need a straightforward unmanaged switch for a home office, TV area, or desk setup, this is an easy win.
