If you are even remotely considering real estate, The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner is the ultimate blueprint. I’ve read plenty of dry finance books, but Turner’s writing style is incredibly engaging and easy to digest. He breaks down complex concepts like cash flow, financing strategies, and property management into actionable steps that don't feel overwhelming for a beginner. What I appreciated most were the "real-world" examples. It’s not just theory; it’s a practical guide on how to actually find, analyze, and close deals. The sections on the BRRRR method and finding hidden gems in a competitive market were eye-opening. Whether you want to buy your first duplex or build a massive portfolio, this book provides the foundational knowledge to do it right. It’s earned a permanent spot on my shelf!

Good book for beginner

I'm not sure why there are negative reviews of this book. I think most people want a step by step, hand holding, you can do this sweetheart book. This book does tell you how to invest in real estate step by step, but every country and even states/province's have different rules and regulations. Brandon does say that you should do your research, and if you arent willing to do that then real estate investing is not for you. Top notch book!!!! I live in canada and found a wealth of information that was relatable in my country. Thanks Brandon for your wisdom and your podcast. PS. You dont have to buy this book, all the same info is in his podcast which is free!!!!

Ayant lu beaucoup de livres en français, je me suis attaqué à ce livre écrit en anglais. Il est très complet et très pratique. On est loin de la théorie et même si l'auteur est américain et s'appliquer à l'immobilier locatif américain, j'ai appris beaucoup de choses. Je recommande vivement.
