I was told this product is the end of rust in the workshop. I sprayed milling paralells, they rusted where they made contact. Sprayed a milling table, seen some rust afterward... Really not impressed. I feel I could have use butter and have the same result...

This item is generally only obtainable through Grainger. While not inexpensive, it is a robust treatment for vehicle undercarriage and insides of body panels to prevent rust. It is designed for marine applications however it lasts up to 5 years in Northeast winter environments. Product dries to a waxy finish and is safe on rubber and plastics per the manufacturer. The product does not wash off in car washes once dry like other liquid products.

Been using LPS #3 on my cars for decades. I've used the drain holes in the bottom of doors to liberally spray this inside the door between the two metal panels. My doors don't rust out at the bottom with age like many. Also effective against the brake lines rusting and having to be replaced. Expensive. But little else has contributed to slowing the rust cancer underneath and adding at least a year's life to the car every year I apply to high water / salt + snow areas.

Use this on rusty or stiff hinges, or coat ball hitches that like to corrode in the rain. Recommended.
