Short Lifespanโ-Got Brand New Item As Replacement
Bought this fan in Sept 2021 based on a friendโs recommendation who was happy with it. 6 months into normal usage the oscillation motor stopped working. Decided to not bother the seller and live with it since the fan was required to throw air predominantly in one part of the room anyways. A few months back noticed that the main motor had started going slow. Again still decided to live with it. Went for a 10 days family vacation to Oman and yesterday upon return found out that fan main motor is making a lot of noise and itโs impossible to use it anymore. Had bought it cause there was a 2 years warranty period which gave me confidence that it would be a good quality product, but unfortunately now as the 2 years warranty period is about to get over, the fan seems to be taking its last breaths and it feels like it was by design made to work for 2 years. Counting on Amazon to replace this item. Letโs see how it goes. I hope the manufacturer service center can fix the same (I will be happy with it) so that otherwise this fine looking item does not end up in a landfill so soon and a few more years of age extension can justify its manufacturing lifecycle.Unexpectedly got a brand new item as replacement which is great, so giving a 5 star for best service.

The fan includes all the hardware needed to mount it. Vertical orientation was limited as compared to other wall mounted fans I have used but it its not a deal breaker. The fan moves a lot of air and does a nice job of keeping me cool during some of the warmest Caribbean nights.Update:It worked wonderfully well for the first 3 months however, only 2 of 3 speed settings now work. Unfortunately the highest setting no longer works. The other 2 speeds also seem to be moving slower than before.I'm not sure what happened as from my experience Black & Decker products are usually superb. I am very disappointed.
