Is the foam in sheet form or shredded?

It is a sheet of thin eggcrate foam that is less than 3" at the highest point and 1/2" at best between the points on the Jumbo size that I received.

Is it possible to order a new cover for this pet bed?

You are better off ordering a new bed again from Amazon! The replacement cover from Furhaven's website for the jumbo bed was $29.99! For a few more bucks you get a new bed with cover.

What size would my fully grown German Shepard fit on?

The 27 x 36 size is too small for my 47 lbs 14 yr old lab mix. I ordered the 29.00 bed thinking that it would actually be large (40 x ?). I feel badly done by.

is the bottom skid proof
