Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream, 12 Ounce

Bought this one to try when the one i am used to discontinued, I loved it and it exceeded my expectations, the product smells devine and your hair will smell nice for days, the consistency is thick though and a bit goes a long way, I used a bit too much and my hair took longer to feel normal but once it fully dried it gave the best curls/waves ever. Plz don't discontinue this as I am planning to stock up on it.

I have bought it recently in June 2020. Have been using it a couple of times now. CONS: 1. It's thick. Like really really thick. 2. Easy to apply but it's greasy after a few hours just like oil. 3. But we have to use both a leave-in conditioner and curling cream quite a few weeks 4. On using, Cantu leave-in conditioner alone itself my natural curls were defined. On normal regular days, shampooing and conditioning and after shower leave-in conditioner is enough. 5. When its defining, all pluminess and volume that we usually have is gone. like, poof. The hair is soft and all but there is a reduction in the original volume. but I only air-dried. It might be because of that too but not sure. Am okay with all the cons except the volume reduction. PROS: 1. The curling cream really really defines the curls and it would work better if we use a diffuser to dry our hair. 2. Even a small plump gives so much product. So its everlasting one. I saw a review that would last for over a year. 3. Money wise - The product is worth the money we spend. 4. The best PRO - is the smell... Woah, it has an amazing smell but its strong. if you reduce the quantity or apply in small layers then the smell lasted till 3 days, my next hair wash.. but it became greasy by then. Would recommend only to use occasionally.

This product is so good and it smells really nice. Delivery was so fast too.

You will need to apply a generous amount for it to moisturize and leaves the hair looking white. Also has a strong smell.

I am so happy with this product. It has really defined my curls and frizzyness is so less too. After trying many other products like gels and mousse this is by far the best product for giving nice defined curls.

This product has worked such wonders for my hair and transformed it into these huge curls that look just..Amazing!! On the pic attached, the left is the before, aka when I discovered my hair wasn't frizzy straight and started the cgm, which to me at the time was just cgm approved shampoo and conditioner and not brushing my hair, which kinda helped in forming these small curls, but then I discovered that silicones and sulphates work wonders for me in giving me soft, light, free flowing hair, and then my journey of self-curl-discoveration started a haircut and multiple shampoos and conditioners later I realized that shampoo and conditioner aren't the only 2 steps of a curly-head. I started looking into curl creams and gels and this was one I got the vibe from (sounds cheesy I know 💀 but I trust my intuition ) so I bought it. And on the right are my results on the first time applying the product, the most beautiful hair day I've ever had, my hair was so voluminous and bouncy, the amount of compliments I received from everyone around me in opposition to the mostly negative comments I used to receive about my frizzy straight hair. {Can't wait for school to reopen I'm gonna walk in with the biggest glow up of my life (dropped 20 pounds, fixed my hair etc) hehe} Idk how I got the quantity right in just the first try, but all I know is I'm a life-long customer from now on! (Also note, I didn't use a gel or any other products except for an oil before shower, Bblunt shampoo and conditioner and this hair cream, I am planning on expanding my hair routine and adding a diffuser, a leave in conditioner and a gel soon! Will update yall with the end results and mention all the products used) So if I you asked me whether you should buy it or nah, id say HELL YES!! Go for it!! The best product for curly hair no cap! This product is my holy grail, seriously trust me and go ahead. It smells like tropical juice (which I LOVEEE and the smell stays on for so longg) Tysm cantu! I'm gonna try hair gels from this brand too, hopefully it gives similar results 🤞❤️💫

The product smells so amazing giving your hair baby curls, leaving it moist the entire day till you wash it off. The freshness and creaminess are soothing. It is absolutely worth buying and I am buying this again and again

Amazing product. I’ve been using this for years now after my hairdresser recommended it to me. You don’t need much, it defines and holds curls and it lasts for ages. It also smells gorgeous.
