I really love my Rockwell 6S, so much so that I just purchased this second one. Now I have the blue and black. I have had the blue version for about 4 months now. I use a #4 and #5 plate on them and in the 4 months only a small amount of the blue on two corners has come off. For function these razors are in my top 4 razors with only Rex, Feather and the one blade genesis are better. This razor is the second heaviest razor I have with the Mukur Future being the heaviest. Cap, plates and the handle all 100% stainless steel. If you get a colored (red, blue, black) one expect the colors to rub and surprisingly that only makes the razor look cooler. I do enjoy variety and that is why over the 30 years of wet shaving I have accumulated a large variety of razors instead of just sticking with one. This Rockwell 6S is a lifetime razor, if you only have room for one then this would be a fine choice at a very reasonable price for stainless steel.

初めての両刃カミソリでこちらを購入しました。 適度な重量感があり力を入れずに刃を滑らせるだけで髭を剃れる感覚がとても気に入っています。 小中学生のころに散髪屋で顔剃りをしてもらったときの感覚を思い出しました。 これまでずっと電動シェーバーを使用していたのですが、少し長い髭が残ったり、何度も動かしても剃り切れなかったりすることがありましたが、両刃カミソリではそうしたストレスが少なく、目立たない産毛まできれいに剃れるのが魅力です。剃ったあとの肌触りも滑らかで、化粧水をつけるときに違いを実感できました。 プレートを交換することで6段階の剃り味に調整できる点も魅力です。 まだR2しか使っていませんが、まずは肌への負担を抑えながら使い方に慣れていこうと思います。 週末はあまり髭を剃らないことが多いため週明けにはR4あたりでしっかり剃るなど、髭の伸び具合に応じて使い分けていきたいと思います。 ステンレス製ならではの質感や重厚感があり、長く愛用できる道具としての満足感があります。 ただ価格はやや高めかなとも思います。素材や質感にこだわり、長く使いたい人には魅力的ですが、基本的な剃り心地を求めるだけなら価格を抑えたRockwell 6Cでも十分と感じる人は多いんじゃないかなと思います。 また、両刃カミソリ全体に言えることですが、私のように初心者の場合は取り扱いに注意する必要があります。 実際に使用した際、剃ったあとに顔に血がにじんでいることを家族から指摘されました。さらに、翌朝のお手入れ後に刃の部分を不用意につかんでしまい、指先を切ってしまいました。 顔の出血については、刃の角度や力加減など、使い方に慣れていないことも原因の一つだと思います。 使用後の洗浄や分解・組み立ての際にも、刃先に不用意に触れないよう注意が必要です。 慣れれば問題ないと思いますが初めて両刃カミソリを使う方は、深剃りを急がず、刃の扱いを含めて慎重に使うことをおすすめします。 まとめ 剃り心地だけでなく、道具としての質感や使う時間そのものも楽しみたい人におすすめできる製品です。 使い心地が気に入ったので次はシェービングブラシとソープも購入して、髭剃り自体をもっと楽しみたいと思います。 価格と取り扱い時の注意点を理解したうえで購入すれば、長く愛用できる一本だと思います。
