Nasal Emollient 1 oz

I have used this for years, recommended by my ENT doctor, and have had no problems with using it or getting it from Amazon. For those who worry about the liquid getting darker over time, it does say on the packaging that this may happen, but it will still be effective. So, I just keep using it. For those who say it drips down your throat, it takes practice and a bit of experimenting how much does one drop feel like when you put it in your nostril if no one is doing it for you. I filled the dropper part way, and saw how many drops would go back into the bottle. I ended up using less and less until I figured out how much I would have to fill the dropper, about a quarter inch or less of liquid. Then I gently squeeze and release quickly as I feel it going into each nostril. I put one or two drops in each nostril. The q-tip method works if you're worried about using the dropper. There is also a 1 minute video on YouTube you can search for that may also help you by an ENT doctor. This product is very helpful when I have sinus irritation, a cold, and when my nose is too dry and susceptible to nose bleeds.

I have had nosebleeds since early childhood (I’m 45 now). Last winter, after two nosebleeds lasting about 2 hours each and weeks of daily nosebleeds between those, I stumbled upon this emollient during a desperate search to find something that might help alleviate my problem. It only took a few days of consistent use to notice a difference. My nosebleeds immediately reduced and eventually stopped completely. This is my second winter using this emollient, and the effect it has had on my nosebleeds has been life changing. As long as I remember to use it daily. I can tolerate pretty much anything that would normally trigger a nosebleed in dry winter months (i.e. sneezing, blowing my nose, taking an extra hot shower, existing). It has a strong smell, but that’s to be expected considering the essential oils in the ingredients. It doesn’t smell unpleasant to me at all. I’d still be putting drops of it in my nose even it smelled like hot cow manure, though. It’s that effective. Don’t hesitate to buy it if you’re considering it. It is worth every penny.

Ponaris takes a little getting used to — the application method isn't immediately intuitive and it feels different from standard nasal sprays. Stick with it though because once you get the hang of it the allergy relief is genuine. A natural option that actually works without the rebound effect of decongestant sprays. Worth the patience to figure it out.

Oh my goodness! This stuff is absolutely amazing at stopping post nasal drip. The only downside, which really isn’t a negative, but if you are use to post nasal drip, it is coating your throat and moisturizing it. When you use this product, it stops all of that and your throat may end up dry because of it. But no more coughing up that nasty stuff. You have smokers cough??? There is no such thing as smokers cough after using this. Definitely use a q-tip and coat inside of nose and go back as far as you can. If you ever had a COVID test, that’s how deep you need to go. It’s crazy when you are use to coughing up phlegm. All of a sudden that all stops when you use this product and it’s interesting to get use to when you are used to clearing your throat all of the time. Definitely have to use as directed. It is my new God send. Thank you for making this.

I’ve been using Polaris Nasal Oil for several years and it’s become a staple in my routine. I live in a dry climate, and this oil is great for keeping my nasal passages moisturized. But where it really shines is when my sinusitis flares up or I feel congestion coming on. It has helped stop sinus infections in their tracks and clear up blocked passages more than once. I’ve used both the dropper and Q-tip methods to apply it—both work. The dropper is easy to use (just tilt your head back or lie down), though sometimes the oil may drip down your throat or out of your nose if you’re upright. I usually use this method when I’m really stuffed up. For daily maintenance, I prefer using a Q-tip to apply a small amount of oil inside each nostril. The scent is noticeable due to the essential oils, but I don’t find it overpowering. If you’re sensitive to smells, it might take a little getting used to. A single bottle usually lasts me six months or longer, depending on how frequently and how much I use. Considering the effectiveness and longevity, I find it to be excellent value for the price. Highly recommend if you deal with sinus issues or live in a dry environment.

Really moisturizing for sinuses, best to use laying down before sleep so it doesn’t completely drain down the throat, opens them up

This is a lifesaver! I am so happy I found this. I have tried many different saline sprays and oils, and this is the first thing that helps the whole night through. I got rhinoplasty two years ago, and because of the increased airflow, my nose whistles when it gets dry. It has been incredibly annoying and frustrating because it wakes me and my partner up. I’ve had to put toilet paper up my nostril to stop it because other sprays only work for 30 minutes or so. I bought this a couple weeks ago, and it had been a godsend. Truly, I am so relieved. It is comfortable, feels nice, smells good, and keeps my nose moisturized the whole night through. I can breath so well and have been sleeping well. I would encourage anybody to give it a try! It has been so worth it for me.

I've been suffering from extremely dry nasal passages from a lack of humidity this past winter. My nose was inflamed and I couldn't even blow my nose due to the pain. This stuff is magical because now I can finally touch my nose without wincing and I can blow my nose without being in pain. It helped moisturize and heal the sore skin. Thrilled I got this and will keep it close by for our family.

For people who have allergy sneezing and runny noses, this product is really very useful. Also for a plugged nose it works wonders. Seems that it lubricates the sinus cavities and keeps down the nasty stuff that goes on inside those places. Getting used to instilling it took a bit of doing but once I did learn, WOW, I was hooked. A user must simply squeeze the bulb, place it in the fluid, let go of the bulb, get about 2/3 of the oil in the tube. Bend back the head, place dropper into the nostril and slowly, repeat slowly squeeze the bulb. I find that moving the tip around slowly around the inside of nose spreads the oil thinly and spreads the oil out. YES it will trickle into the throat, that is difficult but just spit it out. Wipe the nose after you have inserted oil with dropper and just hold your head back to let it remain in nostrils. This is in response to the negative comments about the product. Life is not always easy and getting a good nights sleep is hard sometimes. This helps me sleep and stop the drainage coughing. GIVE it a chance.

Repeat buy. Really works well for me. Significantly helps my dry nostrils and nasal passages.

Nice aroma, and hoping that it works gainst sinusitis, it will take a little time to find out.

My sister always complained of her dry nasal passage with the formation of bloody scabs. She just told me that this product improves her sense of smell as soon as she applied it. A strong scent of mint. She has to use it for longer but it satisfies her for now. I'd love to purchase them more in the future.
