I bought this necklace to replace a sterling silver chain I had broken, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The box chain is delicate but still feels strong, and the lobster clasp is secure and easy to use. It has a nice shine and looks great on its own or paired with a pendant. The quality feels solid for everyday wear. For the price, this was a great replacement option and I’m really happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a simple, reliable sterling silver chain.

I needed an 18” silver chain for a few of my smaller medallions, and this one fit the bill. It’s delicate, shiny, lightweight, and holds my lighter medallions well without strain. This only thing that I didn’t like was the very small clasp, which was a bit hard to open and close to put on and take off the chain. Luckily I have a longer thumbnail than the rest of my short nails so I could put it on without turning the clasp to the front using a mirror to guide me. I’ll buy another shorter one for my 7 year old niece. It’ll be perfect for her too.

Okay, so I’ve been a loyal amazon prime member for 5 years and this is by far the best jewelry purchase I’ve made on amazon. I bought this chain over a month ago, I have a 4 month old baby, who has been grabbing this bad boy ever since I put it on. He YANKS at it like a wild animal, and it is still hanging on strong!! I have showered with this thing, and it’s still beautifully shiny and sparkling. I’ve spent hundreds maybe even reaching $1,000 in jewelry purchases on amazon and nothing has exceeded my expectations more than this chain! Yes- how crazy is that!! I had purchased a small children’s cross pendant- But had trouble finding a chain to fit the tiny charm, it being 925 sterling silver & STAMPED, and for a decent price. This chain was the winner after a couple weeks of scoping amazon. I normally wear 20” chains but wanted to try a 22” and I’m happy I did. The clasp fit my tiny cross pendant but is still strong and sturdy. The chain is thick but not too thick & overpowering the pendant (another thing I was afraid of) I’m so extremely surprised and HAPPY with this purchase!! If you’re looking for a sterling silver chain that meets all your needs, this is it. I’m actually shocked I found exactly what I was looking for, in my price range and worth every penny. cannot rave about this experience enough.

EDIT - Alright so my full original review that I left a few days ago is below. A few hours after I posted it, someone contacted me and told me that it was indeed a defect and that he was sending me 2 replacement chains (one is a bit thicker than the other). I've had the chain on for about 15 hours now, I've been adjusting the pendant like normal, and it is holding up excellently. Still looks great and feels perfect! Just wanted to let everyone know that this is indeed a great purchase and their customer service is top-notch. ORIGINAL (had given 1 star) - I ordered this because the clasp of the necklace I had been wearing for over a year broke. I still love the pendant so my solution was to buy a new chain for it. I came home from work yesterday and put this on, and I absolutely loved it. The chain is light and elegant, it doesn't yank on the little hairs on the nape of my neck, and it looks beautiful. It even came with a cute little "emergency kit" that included earring backs, a polishing square, and jewelry bags. However, later that evening, I was simply adjusting the pendant on the chain while it was around my neck. I wasn't being the slightest bit rough with it and there was zero yanking. But the chain just broke in the middle. I don't know if I just got a defective chain or what, but this sucks because it really was a very nice chain. Just wish it had lasted longer than a few hours.

The chain for my small pendant broke, so I wanted a thin, delicate, and strong chain to replace it. I bought the 16" chain from the seller, Media Productions, and I have to say... I am extremely impressed by both the quality and the service from this seller. When I got the package, I was pleasantly surprised by all the extras that were included: 1) Care instructions for sterling silver 2) About 4-5 extra zipped bags for storing your other sterling silver jewelry 3) An anti-tarnish tab to keep inside one of the store baggies The chain itself was nicely packaged inside a zipped bag (for protection) and further placed inside a shiny box. The chain is genuine 925 sterling silver—it has a tiny stamp on the clasp, just like in the product photos. Because the chain is .8mm, it has the delicacy I was looking for, but is still very durable. The clasp has proved to be very strong so far. Trust me—I am constantly taking my necklace on/off when I shower, workout, and go to sleep. It's still holding strong. Also, 16" is the perfect length for me. I love it! It's exactly what I wanted. And best of all, the price is *amazing* for the quality and the extras you get. Highly, highly recommended if you need a silver replacement chain!

I must state first the comments that the seller stated. If you have any issues with this item that they will work with you on fixing/replacing it. That is what got me hooked. When I received my item, it came with little black squares of material that you use to store with sterling silver. It helps your silver keep it shine and keeps it clean. I always just hung my chains with/without pendants on a bar installed on my wall. After reading the little info included with my item, I realized why I had to clean my chains (& what not) so often. Even gave you an alternate method of using a piece of aluminum foil in a plastic bag or velvet pouch. Jeez, I never ever thought of that. Also included a few little plastic bags so you could cut the black material to put pieces in each little storage bag. Wow, very nice touch! Was just amazed at the info I learned and that they included all that with the purchase of my sterling silver box chain. Awesome. The only reason I gave this review a 4 is the clasp is a bit tiny and takes a bit getting used to, doing it up and taking it off. I would love to see a round clasp that is a bit bigger as opposed to the tiny lobster clasp. Over all though, I believe I will purchase again from this seller. Very impressed and would definitely recommend. Customer service is their main focus obviously, which is very refreshing - Thank you.
