Perfect
Does the job on the Mac Mini. Nice little driver and seems decent quality metal.

Great tool. This guy understands frustration finding this tool...
Bought a Mac mini I need to upgrade. I'd done it before and thought no problem. Apple in their infinite wisdom decided to use "security" screws. These use normal sized tor tools but have a pin sticking out of the top so you bit needs a small hole in the top. I tried to borrow one from an electronic repair shop (they repair flat screen TVs) but they didn't have one. Couldn't find it at nearby Sears. So I went to my trusty Harbor Freight and bought a set but the bit was so small that the hole was filled in. Learned a lesson... make sure you check. Went back a bought a different set same thing. Finally went searching on Amazon. Found this. PERFECT. It is not a set, only one screwdriver, but it was all I needed. Tool fit perfectly. Probably won't use it again because I'm sure Apple will eventually change the screws again, but for what I needed it was great. Would have paid double because of my frustration trying to find the tool. Thanks guys!

Torx T6 security screwdriver works
Fits all the screws to open the 2018 Mac Mini. I did not have any issues with the strength of the screwdriver as some reviewers mentioned. The screws a really small, maybe I should have bought a magnetic screwdriver. It is easy to drop the screws. I used a small pair of tweezers to hold the screws when putting the fan enclosure back in.

It Works
Works perfect and inexpensive. Just what you need to change the HDD in your Mac mini. Make sure you also by a T7 screw driver. The screws holding the HDD in the case are T7 and not T6. Every other screw in the machine is a T6.

Apple Hardware Tool
Needed if you are brave enough to disassemble Apple hardware. You will also need an 8mm.

A Good Way to Get Screwed
If you work on MAC computers you probably have a drawer full weird screwdrivers that you probably used once, only to find you need a couple of different ones the next time. Ad this one to your collection. It's OK, but probably not worth the money you paid, because you'll never use it again. On the other hand if you had to buy it from Apple it would cost 5-10 times more.

Handy
Works really well. No complaints! It’s also a good investment for other Mac computers.

Right tool for the job
I know. It's just a screwdriver. However, I work in IT, primarily PC's, but I do support Apple products as well. I purchased the iFixit tool kit a while back and that has fulfilled all my duties without issue. I recently purchased a new Mac Mini and wanted to swap out the HDD for an SSD. I thought I would be able to accomplish this with my normal tool set, but low and behold! Apple added a new preventative maintenance procedure for something that should be extremely easy to do. The only way to remove these protective screws is this T6 driver, it stinks I probably won't have another use for it, unless I do more mini's in the future, but as for the tool itself, it did the job and that is all I could have asked for it.
