Update from the review below: Had it less than 2 months and it shorted out. So much so it blew a hole in the heating element AND the plate itself. Luckily our main fuse box tripped to prevent any fire. Old review: Great product. Removing the plates means easy cleaning. Great for toasties, panini’s and waffles. The only thing for the grilling a temperature control would be good (although this would add significant cost to the product).

PROS: - Easy to use. - Great results using each of the different plates. - Easy to remove and clean plates. CONS: - Difficult to clean the machine itself if waffle mix enters crevices. - Base plate melted itself off while under making waffles (regular use) to leave exposed wiring.

Excellent product. But expensive on Amazon. In city centre I got is a bit cheaper. I got from there only 69 DHS.

Good product but be careful that you don't put too much waffle mixture in the plates as it can leak everywhere and even get inside the unit as we found out. Was so hard to clean afterwards. Would have been good if the device was sealed in some way to stop this from happening. Other than that it makes good toasted sandwiches.

So easy to use and so easy to clean. I’m disabled and even I can manage it very easily. A few people said the clip breaks easily but if you don’t over fill and push down slowly, it clips very easily. This really does a great job of sandwiches. The plates are very non stick so food pops out without trouble. Even melted cheese just peels right off. If you want to use something to help get food out, bear in mind the non stick coating shouldn’t be scratched with metal utensils. Cleaning them is a breeze, just a wipe down with damp kitchen roll is all it takes. I wouldn’t advise putting it in a bowl or soaking. It doesn’t need it and it looks like it might rust. A damp tea towel, kitchen roll or sponge is all it needs. Great value for money. Definitely worth buying.

I love this because it can be throughly cleaned & the hot plates are dishwasher safe. Really good toasties & paninis ! The waffle plate is superb for regular or potato waffles

This is my second unit from Russell Hobbs to replace the first one which suffered a broken base plate after about 15 months. I bought the exact same one again because it is an excellent unit for toasting, easy to clean, safe, compact, and because Russell Hobbs told me they could not offer a replacement base. Really a great unit except for the flimsy base. The base that it sits on is made of plastic that is not very think. This base broke which then exposed the wiring. Russell Hobbs sadly does not (as of now) offer spares for this. If this unit had a better base or if RH offered a replacement base, then I would rate this 5 ***** and tbh, it is a good enough unit that I recommend it and would buy it again.

Had so much fun making fluffy waffles, better than the restaurant ones even if they are smaller! Hot waffles served any day of the week :) Takes between 5-10 mins to cook once hot. Removable plates make cleaning easy. The sandwich toastie plate is good used with a smaller load of bread, if using the average slice of wrapped bread you get quite a bit of overhang around the edge which makes it difficult to close. Worth the price as it comes with 3 sets of plates, much more than just a sandwich toaster.

I bought this for my wife and she uses it atleast 3 times a week whether it's making waffles for our daughter or just a quick sandwich toastie for lunch, it's a really good little grill. Heats up really fast, approx 1-2 minutes and has a light on it to indicate when it's hot enough. The different style grills and really easy to change out, they just pop out. Non-stick so super easy to clean. Can't beat it for the price.
