BeaverCraft Cut Resistant Tape Adherent Wrap Tape No-Cut Tape for Wood Carving and Whittling NCT6 6pcs

I'm not going say you can't cut through this tape and I would be hesitant to use it as the only thing for protection. At first I was using just medical type self adhesive tape over at thumb I hac cut off of a pair of glove. I cut through after a few minutes of use and my gardening glove saved me. Then I ordered some finger guards and the BeaverCraft cut resistant tape. I put a few wraps on top of the thumb guard and I've been using it for 3 days and the tape is holding up great. I haven't cut through any layers of it yet. It's providing much better protection than other tapes I've used. It's easy to put on and sticks to itself just fine. It's great not to have to re-wrap my thumb every few minuets.

This is great for wood carving classes and being able to hold on to what I am doing. Easy to use and comfortable what I am doing.

Worked as it should

I wish I had bought this a long time ago. It protects my fingers from little cuts when wood carving. I also started using it when doing any kind of big sanding job. It keeps the ends of my fingers and fingernails from wearing down and it protects from splinters. It is not sticky yet it adheres well to itself when wrapped. It is comfortable on my fingers and does not get in the way of what I'm doing. I will buy more when I run out.

Good protection for woodcarver's fingertips. I use it to wrap the thumb on my knife hand. I'm able to carefully slide it off and reuse it multiple times. I saw a Bruce Ankeny video on the IAWC website where he uses a coin (penny) under it for added protection. Sounds like a good idea.

Forget carving gloves, this tape is awesome and reusable! I love how I don't need to cover my whole hand with a glove, and can instead wrap my thumb and index finger. The tape is great and sticks only to itself so no messy cleanup and can be reused. 100% recommend

Great product works well, I put it on top of cut resistant gloves never had an issue

It helps to protect, but it doesn’t offer 100% protection—it depends on the sharpness of the knife

Tape sticks very well and it’s more comfortable than wearing gloves.
