This is a great way to get that esspresso flavour without a full esspresso machine. I use this with cold water when making esspresso martinis and they come out perfectly.

I bought this purely to use for baking, and originally specifically to make Nigella Lawson's Coffee and Walnut Layer Cake (recipe on Nigella dot com). I had tried making coffee and walnut cakes with normal instant coffee as specified in their recipes but could never get the coffee flavour I wanted, so when I saw powdered espresso mentioned in this recipe, I decided to give this a try. This espresso powder makes a world of difference to the flavour of your baked goods. I also used it for Banana Mocha Chip Muffins (recipe on Taste of Home dot com) which I'd tried making before with normal instant coffee and the flavour was greatly improved when using this. It doesn't just improve the flavour of cake either, I've also used it in icing, not just with the Nigella cake, but I then did a version of the Twisted Cinnamon-Pecan Breakfast Yeast Bread as seen in the third photo (recipe on Salad in a Jar dot com) but split the icing ingredients into two and made the two breads (the recipe makes two breads) one with vanilla icing and one with coffee icing, the coffee icing I made with: one cup of icing sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence, one teaspoon of this espresso powder and one tablespoon of boiling water. It came out brilliantly, and was an amazing contrast to the normal vanilla iced one. This just adds a delicious deep coffee flavour that you really can't get using normal instant coffee granules and it goes a long way. It was also much cheaper to buy from Amazon than to buy in the supermarkets. I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can make with it.

I love this coffee. I do not like strong coffee but this is fairly strong but very smooth. The price was amazing and it was delivered on time and well packaged.

LOVE this coffee. Even my husband will drink this black and he normally has sugar and milk. It's so smooth but lovely flavour. Ran out and other instant coffee now tastes vile after drinking this! It is on the pricey side for how long it lasts me but the taste is worth it, especially when it's on offer! Gorgeous coffee
