Has anyone used this with tube like swing away armrests?

I don’t know that it would work well on a swing away because the (long) side that goes against the body may get caught on the wheel as it swings away.  At least on the type of chair my Mom had, it would not have worked.  It does slide off of the chair easily though, so it could be removed and the swing out used.  Hope this helps.

Question 2

Hi, will this fit over a flip up post armrest?

I don't have any idea how wide a lateral flip up armrest is so it is hard for me to answer the question.  The fixed armrest on the wheelchair that we used this pillow for had an armrest that was about 3 inches wide. The pillow slipped over it nicely.  The armrest pillow does take up some  of the width of the chair as it sticks out several inches into the chair.  I hope this helps.

Hi again! One more question: does a person's arm perspire when resting against it a long time? Thanks for your help!

My Mother's arm did not perspire, but she was elderly and very cold-natured.  If someone was in a warm climate, etc., I can see how someone might perspire against the vinyl, but I think you could fold a cloth/small towel over the vinyl, and that would eliminate the problem.  I was amazed by how much this helped my Mother to sit straighter and be more comfortable.  It also reduced my concerns about her getting her hand/arm caught in the wheel.

Cover that fits? Anyone?

I had the same question a few years ago, myself.  We would take the cover off and wash by hand in some "baby shampoo" and air dry.  It also cleans pretty well when you scrub it with a disinfectant wipe.  I would suggest that someone could sew a new cover, I almost attempted it myself, but the original one lasted for years through the hand washings.  Maybe you could contact the manufacturer, look inside the cover, there is a tag with info, and see if you can order one.  Best wishes.
