OK, I don't know about you. But I think this product is genius. I've been using one for almost ten years. And there's no reason to upgrade - it's a slice of magic in your hands. This thing is awesome. I accidentally purchased the wrong one, so make sure you know if you have a 1.0 or 2.0 or whatever version. And honestly, I hadn't realized how dull my blade had gotten until I replaced it. Wow! I had gotten laser hair removal on my back, which was life-changing. But you know, there's still strays here and there. It wasn't 100% effective. But now with my baKblade, I don't have to go for waxing, which was a nightmare. I've saved thousands of dollars.

Update 02-Jan-2019: Bakblade Customer Service has been good about working with me. They sent me more blades, which were the same blades that did not fit my handle. I let them know, and they sent me a new handle and even more blades, at which point I understood the issue... the new 1.0 handle they sent me is different than the one I purchased a year ago. The one from a year ago is one continuous blue piece of plastic and does NOT fit their new 1.0 blades.. The new one is two pieces that snap together and it does fit the new blades. If this ends up happening to you, then just contact BakBlade directly. They were very responsive. As for the product itself, I'll let you know if the new ones stay sharp any longer than their old ones, which were only useful for 1-2 shaves. Update 20-Dec-2018: I reordered this product and the blades looked completely different and did not fit my 1.0 handle, so I actually thought these were fake / knockoff. I got in touch with Bakblade's Customer Service and they confirmed that they did redesign the blades and suggested I must have received a "defective set." They offered to send me a new set, so if those fit and perform the same as the old blades, then I'll post an update. I was initially excited about this product because it works great... the first and maybe second times... after which, the blade is useless, which is absolutely ridiculous because body hair is soft and shouldn't dull a blade like this very quickly. These are super expensive blades too, if you factor in 1-2 uses - about $2-4 per shave.

These blades are not sharp at all. It’s almost feels like the blades were used and not new ones. Very disappointed in these. Update:: After I wrote this review I was contacted by the seller, which I thought was great. To me this shows they care about their product and truly want to make their customers happier. They sent me brand new blades that are supposed to be improved. I just received them and after the first try I must say they’re sharp. I’ll keep posting after each use tp see the longevity of the blades, but as of now they’re great. Update number 2: After the first use the blade sharpness was noticeably duller. I actually was only able to use the same blade twice. I’ve never used any other brand so I’m not sure the longevity of other blades, but I would think the blades would be good for at least 3-4 uses. So, I’ll probably go with another brand next time just to compare.
