Zippo純正ウィックで品質は安定しています。 だいたいオイル式ライターで芯のサイズさえ同じならこれを選んでいますが、燃焼不良を起こしたことはありません。 素材は銅線とガラス繊維なので、ガラス繊維に関しては経年劣化（数年〜10年くらい）します。そのため、古いウィックを付けたままの方や、残り5cmくらいまで使った方は交換するとよいかと思います。
