I purchased this to reinforce a part of my computer power cord where the skinny outer sheath was separating from a wider transition section in the cord. (The inside wires were still individually wrapped.) This product may seem a little expensive for the quantity that you get, but a replacement power cord for my laptop was going to be WAY more costly, so I figured it was worth a try. Following the instructions, I was able to mold the putty around the affected section of the cord, set it aside for a couple days to fully cure (part of it was really thick, so I needed to be sure it was cured all the way through), and Bam! my problem was solved. When cured, the putty is flexible enough that it doesn't break when bent, but stiff enough to reinforce the power cord. I actually used this product over a year before writing this review it is still holding up as well as it did a year ago when I first put it on. I would highly recommend this for any odd job where you need a sturdy but flexible final product.

Sugru is its own thing. I think of it less as a super glue and more as a modeling clay that can replace bits of an object/part when full replacement doesn't make sense. One good example of this is the steering wheel of a vintage car, where a chunk has broken off. You can't easily get a replacement, but Sugru can fill that gap and make a lasting repair. The major downside, other than price, is that Sugru has a shelf life of 6-12 months before it hardens of its own accord. I have read that it will last about twice as long if you store it in a refrigerator.

Best stuff in the world. Works great for repairing things and creating stuff. Very moldable, much like clay. I have a coffee mug that the handle broke off I reattached it using the sugru it has been holding the past 3 years, even running through dishwasher.

If use less than the slice given,it doesn’t preserve well but gets too hard to use. Otherwise I like the product. Strong and durable but waste a lot due to non perseverance .

I don’t know how this stuff works, but it is amazing. We used it to fasten our railings to the fittings because the screws wouldn’t work and we couldn’t get the screwdriver into the spot for the hardware. Just follow the directions and don’t count on saving any. Once the package is open, you have to use it all!

Worked really well to repair the cracks in my cars dashboard, though it does turn a dark shade of gray and doesn't remain black once it's set.

Ho usato il Sugru per fissare il C-Mount della GoPro sul casco e mi sono trovato molto bene. La cosa che ho apprezzato di più è che sia modellabile come una pasta, così da poterlo adattare perfettamente alla superficie e dargli la forma più adatta. L’adesione è buona e per utilizzi normali fa bene il suo lavoro. Va detto però che quando il casco mi è caduto dalla moto, il supporto si è staccato. Ho risolto con una colla specifica per plastica, ma in condizioni di urti forti forse non è la soluzione definitiva. Nel complesso rimane un prodotto molto utile, versatile e creativo, soprattutto per piccoli lavori di riparazione o fissaggio.
