Pyramex Ridgeline Cap Style Hard Hat, 4-Point Ratchet, Vented

This hard hat is excellent! It’s lightweight yet durable, and the vented design keeps me cooler during long hours on the job. The 4-point ratchet suspension makes it easy to adjust for a secure and comfortable fit. The blue finish looks sharp, and overall it provides great safety without sacrificing comfort.

A very good helmet; it is durable, comfortable, and high-quality. It fits perfectly and does the job. I recommend it.

My co-workers keep making fun of me because I keep forgetting the darn thing is on. It feels like I'm wearing a baseball cap to me. I placed some 3m reflective decals on various places for even higher visibility at work . I haven't used it yet in hot weather but the wind how's through it just as loudly as my 3M model of this style so I am hopeful it'll be just as cooling when the breeze blows in the summer . The 2 extra vents in the back and slightly larger holes/vents along the upper sides should help heat except well as well. I've been super pleased since going to vented 3M hard hats. I just wear a beanie hat under them until weather warms up. Fitting it to my head was a little different because there's more possibilities for tweaking just right. After a few adjustments here and there I got that baseball hat comfort. My Howard Leight headphones popped right onto the hat so I didn't have to buy new ones and cross my fingers they pop into the cutouts. The hinged rear of the suspension system didn't work right until I got the overall adjustments right. It kept getting stuck in the hat and I'd have to pop it out by pulling down on it when I put the hat on but that's a non issue now. I've changed the brow pad to another brand I use on my other hard hats and I'm hoping the rear pad (at the ratchet) lasts longer than on my other Pyramex hard hats because just that silly little piece of foam makes a huge difference in comfort during extremely hot weather. The color is actually a little brighter than the illustration but the shade of it is spot on. I'd definitely buy this one again, be it this color or others.

Order placed 30 March 2023. Item arrived promptly - except it was not the item I had ordered. I had ordered the vented hard hat but was sent the unvented model instead. I immediately returned the incorrect item I had received and asked for it to be replaced with what I had originally ordered. They admit to a shipping error and tell me they are sending me the correct replacement. Replacement shows up in my Amazon orders as having been sent 3 April 2023. I wait and wait for my replacement ... 20 April 2023 and still no sign of my replacement. I follow up with the company and they tell me "the requested item is not in inventory". So I asked them to resend the unvented model that they had originally sent me. Item was reshipped and received promptly. Now let me talk about the hard hat itself. I purchased this model because it is slotted. I wanted a slotted hard hat to be used with various slotted accessories - like my recently purchased Sellstrom Dual Crown Safety Face Shield with Universal Hard Hat Slot Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WJHI3L0. This is the reason I wanted to buy their slotted hard hat - in order to use a face shield or ear protection with universal hard hat slot adapters. My new safety face shield fits the Pyramex Ridgeline Cap Style slotted hard hat perfectly! The innovative dial ratcheting suspension is very comfortable. This hard hat is light, fits well, and is comfortable - even with the added weight of the face shield and I love the dial ratchet suspension as well as its attractive gray color! I am very happy with my purchase! To the company's credit they were very responsive to my enquiries and also refunded my purchase cost! This is excellent customer service and the product is an excellent purchase at an excellent price, which I highly recommend. The product is worth 5 stars. However I am still knocking off 1 star because I think their multiple shipping attempts could have been avoided if the company had just been more upfront about not having inventory of the vented hard hats right at the beginning. In fact, their Amazon product listing still shows the vented hard hats as being in stock. I know other customers have also complained about the same shipping error.

For 30$ you get more than you pay for. Been in the trade most of my life and I'm always required to wear a hard hat. This is by far the lightest one I've ever owned. I actually thought the box it came in might have been empty it was so light but it's also comfortable and fits nicely with plenty of adjustment options. I like the design and finished look. If you need a hard hat at a good price this is the one.

There is something about wearing hard hats that it bothers my head. My company started construction in a new building, and you have to wear one in the area. This was cheap and I don't really feel it on my head. Easy to adjust too.

De muy buena calidad

The only thing, and this is minor, is that it does not include a front bracket for mounting a flashlight. Not a big deal but including that minor feature would have made this the best hard hat I've ever owned.
