Bought these items as a Amazon return product meaning they came in an open box. All the lights were there and in good condition and when I completed the build of my home office these were quick and easy to install. The lights have a dimmer function that allows me to adjust light level to my needs, and they are able to switch between white and yellow light so are perfect for any setting.As it was a refurb pack, I had some questions that I wanted more detail on but having contacted Alusso direct I was really pleased to find out that they have really great after sales support- answering my questions promptly and helping me with my understanding of the product. I have since gone on to purchase more products for elsewhere in my house!

I decided to replace my old halogen downlighters and settled on these. They were very easy to fit (hardest job was removing the old downlighters) and work well. They are possibly a bit brighter then the halogen lights, and dim well in the rooms where I have a dimmer switch. Very happy with them.

Easy to install very bright choice of colour shades. My electrician did not like the connectors and found the switch easy to knock into a position where light didn’t come on working perfectly once finished very pleased

UPDATE: All 6 have now failed, lasting less than 3 years.Unfortunately, of the 6 lights installed in my kitchen, 4 have already failed. They begin by randomly changing colour temperature, and then eventually they flash on and off. Very poor quality which is a shame, as they do have a nice design and the ability to change colour temperatures.

They nicely replace the old GU10 mountings and give good light. Also nice that they can be adjusted in the colour spectrum. However they are massively let down by the build quality. I bought the IP44 rated ones and have used them in zones1 & 2 of the bathroom. Within 18 months 3 our of 6 have failed - with the same symptoms - flashing, dimness and then failure. Rubbish really. Especially as they take longer than a normal bulb to swap over. I will buy again however as they are cheap - so I suppose you get what you pay for!!
