very compact, easy to store
Great ladder to get up onto rooftops or raching high windows. I dont recommend their use for painting because if you get paint on the stiles it won't close properly, but for everything else I give it a big thumbs up

Learn the product
I bought this ladder to specifically paint the inside of a two-story interior stairwell. I needed something I could maneuver in the limited space. I also wanted to purchase a quality product that wasnโt flimsy. I donโt like heights to begin with and having a ladder bounce while Iโm on it makes it worse. This is good quality. Itโs not for sissyโs however. For reference, Iโm a small build female over 50, and average strength. When fully extending all the rungs of the ladder you have to have enough strength to push 30+ lbs straight up over your head into the air. Plus maintain control of the ladder fully extended. I could manage it, but was at the top of my range. This is not meant to be a negative. Just an fyi to smaller people. There are videos on YouTube you can watch which I felt were helpful. Read the comments on those videos and learn more sometimes than the video itself. I learned from the comments how to collapse the ladder easier than the instructions. Sometimes YouTubers donโt always have it right. I can see where people would have trouble fully collapsing the ladder if I didnโt read the comments. My hands are also smaller, so pushing the release levers were a little tricky too. But I experience this with many tools as they are manufactured for large menโs hands. This ladder is so much easier to transport and store. I will be buying the storage bag for it. It is a keeper for sure. It wonโt replace all my ladders, but for those special occasions it is worth it.

It's great, except the last step
I love this ladder. I love how versatile it is in that I can extend from the top, leave some steps together, and if needed, extend from the bottom as well. The only problem I have is that the very last bottom step is extremely hard to close. Both my adult sons helped me and we had very few successful attempts at closing it. We actually have to lie down the ladder, push on the tabs and close it. It does not work if the ladder is standing. We tried releasing the pressure a bit by lifting while pushing on the tabs, but no luck. And it was almost always a 2 person job (I am female, 110 lbs), but even my adult sons had extreme trouble with it. So when I'm by myself, I have to lie it down in order to close it, so I try to avoid opening the last step. This is not always an option, since some of the roofs I inspect require the full extension. But other than that it is a great ladder.

Excellent product worth the money!
This is an excellent product! I own a home inspection company, the first one of these I bought about 7 years ago and is still out in the field working and make me money every single day!

Gravity, while dependable, is NOT always your friend.
You know that loose skin at your elbows? You know, that wad of flesh you can squeeze as hard as you want but it doesn't hurt? Turns out, the skin over your knuckles works just like that! How do I know, you ask? I know, because 10 minutes after this ladder arrived, i had the knuckle skin of my right hand trapped between the collapsed 2nd and 3rd rung. With the weight of all the rungs above that pinning me to the ladder. My wife still laughs about me calling her over to help release me from my predicament. Don't get me wrong. This ladder is great. Very sturdy. I used it this weekend all around a 12.5' tall class A rv. Used short pool noodle lengths to cover the rails where it contacted the RV roof radius areas. The extend & xlimb allowed me to bypass the lousy built-in ladder on the back of the rv. Though heavy, it's small enough to fit in the rv for travel. A termite inspector on a home visit recently commented he has had the same ladder for years and it's still going strong. He suggested always making sure each level "clicks" into place, as well as ensuring the ladder is at a mild angle so the feet don't slide. In closing: respect the ladder, and the weight of those rungs as it collapses one rung at a time. It is 100% controllable, but if your attention wanders while collapsing the ladder, you might find yourself in a sudden surprise pinch/pinned situation like me! Hope this helps someone decide!

Extremely hard to close
This ladder is a great idea, extends easily and sturdy while I'm on it but extremely hard to close. I am 6' female and fairly strong. The upper rungs on this ladder close easily but as I get to the lower rungs, the latches are extremely hard to close. One of the side latchs will slide in but the other side won't budge. Ride now the ladder is extended laying on the ground next to my house. My husband has totally given up on this ladder. Very disappointed.

Made in China and a bit flimsy
Light weight and easy stored, but I did not realize it was made in China and it is pretty flimsy just extended to 12'. Wish I had bought the heavier duty one rated at 300 lbs, and I am under 200 lbs

Best on the market
This is the third set Iโve had of this brand. Iโve tried other brands, but this one feels good. When you extend it, it slides and clicks into place with confidence. It just feels safe. This in my opinion is the best on the market. Youโll spend a little more, but it really is worth it.

I've purchased a number of ladders over the years but this one checks all the boxes. I inspect houses as a professional home inspector so I need reliable tools. This ladder is great! it extends to 19 feet, it fits easily in the back of my SUV, extends and collapses easily. I highly recommend this ladder.
