Zerex G05 Phosphate Free Concentrate Antifreeze Coolant 1 Gallon

Appearance is thick. Color is correct. A tight fitting cap prevents leakage for transport after you cut your mix. Clear measurement marking on the clear sideview panel make it easy to obtain your required percentage of dilution. Functionality is off the charts of you're a G05 user. Two gallons of Concentrate makes 4 gallons of 50/50 at a MUCH lower price than buying prediluted G05! I met my 11+ gallon summer mix quota and still have a gallon left over. I'm happy! I think anyone would be!

This is the most recommended Antifreeze by Certified Volvo Technicians for the 1992-2001 Model Cars.. This G-O5 surpasses even the Blue Factory Volvo Antifreeze in all the tests. I like the G-05 because in an emergency pinch you can safely mix it with a similar Antifreeze just be sure to flush the system immediately once the issue is fixed, unlike the Blue Factory Volvo which cannot be safely mixed whatsoever.. These Authentic Series of Foreign Volvo have been known to last over 300,000-400,000 miles with proper routine maintenance, they are truly the last series of Authentic Foreign VOLVO's that were built like tanks. I used this on an older Mercedes Benz, which called for G05, gold-colored coolant (there's a few types of gold ones). G05 is usually hard to come by, unless a specific auto parts store happens to carry it. I see other European-based coolants that are purple or teal, etc.; but those are only meant to top off your existing G05 gold coolant, and not to be used as a full system fill. Even if so, I would probably be more comfortable adding universal coolant to top off my cooling system/radiator, up until I'm able to flush out the coolant and get a sufficient amount of the proper coolant. Most coolants are able to mix with universal coolant (that's the whole point lol), but certain ones like Dex-cool orange (American), tend to have a chemical reaction and potentially form sludge or build-up over a very long high-mileage period...

similar HOAT formula as motorcraft gold coolant, it's even the exact same color. But at about half the price and much easier to find. Best option for early/mid 2000's Ford engines.

I would give more stars but there was no cost savings. It was just less of a pain than ordering from a box store
