Will this device allow me to connect a wired device as well as wireless devices to my existing wifi network the same time?

You configure this device to work on your wireless network (via laptop or whatever). Then you plug this device's ethernet plug into some other device and that device will access the wifi network.

Yep I use it for my camera systems DVR I keep in the attic. You have to bridge it to the WiFi then connect it to the ps4.

Will this device connect to an iPhone personal hotspot?

I have connected mine to Xfinity, Asus, and Cradlepoint WiFi routers. Not sure about a iPhone hot spot as I do not have one. With the correct configuration, I see no reason why it would not.
