EL Wire Grass Green, 9ft Neon Light With Sound Control/Constant Light/Flash, Glowing Strobing Electroluminescent Wire, Battery Operated for Parties, Halloween, DIY Decoration

This item arrives in full working order. AAA x 2 batteries are required, these are easy to instal by removing the back panel. The device has 3 modes of function, operated by a small button. The modes are 1. Always on 2. Intermittent (flashing) 3. Sound activated, particularly with a loud beat, something along the manner of dub, techno, metal etc. It does emit a slight humming sound, similar to tinnitus or a mosquito but just turn your amplifier up with your dub, techno or what ever on) and you wont even notice it. Complaints about its noise are from soft people, it all works perfectly well. 10/10 I am going to fix mine to my cyber mask.

Shame. They emit a constant high pitch frequency that is awful and can not be turned off. You could not wear this as a costume without it driving you crazy and you probably shouldn't as it's no doubt doing damage to your ears. I only had it on for 2 minutes to test them out and my ears are still ringing now. The light is fine but how they released these with that flaw is beyond me.

Very easy to work with, bends into shape easily. Vibrant colours. Very impressed with the quality and cost. Definitely purchasing more of these.

The noise is the one downside, it's horrible I'm not going to sugar coat it. But it does exactly what I needed it to do. See picture attached.

I bought this wire as a test for Halloween recently and whilst I am pleased with the functionality I must note that they arent as bright as the picture, you CANT see anything in a lit room, even in a darkened room you will struggle to notice anything, only in complete darkness will you notice the light, they offer 3 modes: STEADY, FLASH and some sort motion or sound activated mode, this mode isnt really reliable for either as it requires either deafening bass to activate or physically bumping the battery pack. HOWEVER, these are very light weight and has a very thin wire that could wrapped, stitched or embedded into things like I intended, I bought purple and green and I have used the green as a spaghetti inside a pumpkin and the purple is to be embedded into some Maleficent horns, both items are to be used at night and I don't want bright lights on either...luckily

Love it. Purchased after seeing on Kirstys hand made Christmas. Bought a few different colours and have made a big sign.

The colour is cool but the brightness leaves much to be desired. I've bought the blue, white and purple ones and my main problem with them is the horrendous buzzing sound generated by the receiver in the switch box. The reason several don't work is that there is an awful amount of flux/residue left in the controls that effect the circuitry. If you're good with electronics, cut the light cable and wire it into your own projects, etc. If you're not, avoid this product and buy something else.

These neon string lights aren't the best. It omits a very high frequency sound when switched on which is quite irritating and the connection between the battery pack and lights is questionable. If you tap the battery pack the lights go off

Fil électroluminescent blanc, alimenté par 2 piles 1,5V, 4 modes de fonctionnement, éteint, allumé, clignotant et modulable avec le son. Ce dernier ne fonctionne pas ou il faut être dans une boite de nuit avec 40000 watts ! Luminosité très faible, même avec des piles neuves. C'est un gadget, je déconseille !
