Henna Topaz (Light Blonde) 16oz

I'm starting to use henna to add a little tone to my natural never dyed dark blonde hair. Yesterday, after watching step by step tutoring in how to prepare and apply henna, I mixed 10 tablespoons ( next time will add more) of henna powder with warm flower infusion, add 1 teaspoon ayurvedic hair oil, a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon and left it for 3 hours in warm place. The most difficult part was applying henna to my long hair. I spent sooome time doing it. And I left it for 45 min more or less. After washing it, I was amazed of the result. Shiny, bouncy just with a little touch of sunny strands. I'll buy this henna again, no doubt!

I have light strawberry blonde hair and this turned my hair green. I was just looking to add shine without really changing the color. I read the reviews and these seemed like a safe bet. I guess the only way to fix now is to go darker red to mask the green. Not pleased.

Color came out as advertised and is a lovely shade. I mixed as directed and added a tbs of coconut oil. I used it over prem dyed hair (med ash blond) and about and 1'' of mostly gray and med brown new growth. Came out great. The color had remain consistent for more than a month. Henna is a little messier application than conventional hair color products. But not much. Well worth not having to deal with the chemicals and smell. FYI the instructions are in a little plastic bag inside the canister. Possibly under the all of the product. Do find them and read them. You do not use acid (lemon juice) or need to let it proof.

This product did not do much to my hair. I followed instructions for proper henna use on the internet, but mostly it dried my hair out. I would not buy this again.

It dried out my hair so I had to compensate with a lot of coconut oil. I didn't let it set for a full day so I'm not sure that I got the full effect of using this type of product.It didn't change the color of my hair drastically but it did give an overall lighter brown hue. The good of it was that I used it on processed hair (Bleached highlights which I've since put in lots of purples and blues in) and it didn't damage my hair.

I had been using Just for Men to color my graying beard for a couple of years. It is somewhat expensive and leaves a chemical smell that lasts for a few days. This henna worked great and it looks like it will end up costing as little as $1.30 per application. I'm very happy with the color. It looks very natural. I just mixed the henna with hot water and olive oil to make a paste and brushed it into my beard. Then, I applied heat with a hair dryer for a few minutes. After 30 minutes, I removed the henna in the shower. Hopefully, it will last longer than the Just for Men, too.

Great Henna color, if you want to tone down red in your hair & give it golden highlights instead. I have been using Henna products for over 30 yrs. and they are simply marvelous. It conditions as well as colors, and no root line! It looks super natural on, it's easy to use, why not do a good turn for your hair?
