Our baby started getting his teeth in early at 1 month old (when they start that early the gums are thicker, so teeth take longer to come all the way out of the gums) and was screaming in pain from his little teeth. He’s now 3 months old with 5 teeth in and a 6th on the way, so we’ve tried a lot of different teething products to try to give him pain relief. We’ve tried 4 different teething gels/drops (Mommy’s Bliss daytime/nighttime teething gels, Dr. Talbot’s teething gel, Teething Tamer, and Punkin Butt teething oil) and Punkin Butt is the clear winner! The cloves have a natural numbing effect, and the thick consistency of Punkin Butt Oil makes it easy to apply to the gums with a finger or a baby toothbrush; our baby goes from wailing in pain to immediately calmer once we apply this stuff to his gums. I imagine the other ingredients either also help with pain-relief or help calm, but all we know is this was the most effective and most affordable teething product we’ve been able to find. Teething Tamer (which also has cloves in it) was decently effective too but it’s way too expensive at $25 a bottle, and it was also more watery, thus messier to apply. The other ones we tried (Mommy’s Bliss day/night gels and Dr. Talbots, which don’t contain cloves) didn’t seem to give him much immediate pain relief, but we did notice that they seemed to do more for the teeth that had already come through the gums than the ones actively coming out. I will say that they seemed to help reduce frequency of painful wailing episodes so they probably help some with discomfort but just not immediately. The nighttime Mommy’s Bliss gel did seem to help him sleep better. The Dr. Talbot’s has arnica (which helps with pain and inflammation) and comes with a teether, but again seems better for teeth that have already cut through the gums completely because it didn’t provide the immediate pain relief needing for when the teeth are actively coming in. If your baby is wailing in pain from new teeth cutting through the gums, Punkin Butt Oil is the clear way to go.

This stuff saved this momma many restless and sleepless nights!! I wanted something natural but affective for my babygirl and this was just that. I swear by this stuff and would recommend to any momma. The quality of this is good. Very easy to apply. The bottle lasts you a good while. Definitely worth the money.

Used this for my first and now my second baby. They both love the taste and are soothed and calm after application. Smells wonderful. Once my oldest was able to communicate he told me how much he liked it and that it helped while he was teething. I like to apply using one of those banana teether/toothbrushes because it’s easier than using a finger they might bite and the massage seems to help ease their discomfort even more. Comes with more than enough oil and gives me peace of mind that the ingredients are so clean. Highly recommend to other mamas (and I have recommended to my friends as well).

I bought this on a recommendation from a friend who used it with her teething twins. I have very mixed feelings about this teething oil. The smell of the cloves and peppermint is very strong. A little bit definitely goes a long way. My six-month old hates to see me coming with this bottle, and the second the oil hits her gums she starts drooling like crazy. However, after a couple of minutes she calms right down, and is in absolutely no pain. So I must say even though this product is kind of my last resort when it comes to my baby fussing over teeth, I would certainly recommend it to others who are looking for something else to work when the other numbing agents don't. UPDATE: This is now my GO-TO for teething pain for my nine-month old. I made a small adjustment to my administration (combined 3.5 tbsp coconut oil with .5 tbsp of the Punkin Butt Teething Oil, and put it in a two oz. baby food jar), and now she doesn't seem to mind the oil at all when I put it on her gums. I think maybe it was just too strong in the beginning. It still works just as quickly, maybe even quicker since she doesn't stress herself out trying to get away from me. I keep one jar in her bedroom, one jar in the diaper bag, and have sent one jar to day care with her. She gets it prior to each nap and sleeps much longer than she used to. I used to be lucky if I could get an hour out of her nap time. Now she sleeps AT LEAST two hours, sometimes longer if no one waked her up. This stuff has definitely been a lifesaver. I would absolutely encourage anyone looking for teething relief to try this oil. You may have to come up with some sort of concoction like I did, but it's certainly worth a shot if you're at your wits end. Good luck!

I will forever swear by this tincture. I’ve used it for 2/4 of my children and their teething stages were so much better with this teething oil.

Honestly can’t tell if it works. My 5 month hates the taste. It does have a strong smell. Has peppermint oil in it, which dries up milk supply so I didn’t feel good about using it

This is pure magic. If you have a baby teething this is a must have!! I saw this on TikTok and decided to take a chance because I was desperate to help my little one with pain and omg I wish I had this with my first!! This is so much stronger than the gentle baby gels they sell in stores and the affects of the oil hit right away so baby relaxes in a few mins. I love it and have also suggest family to use it when they have toothache themselves . I really appreciate how natural it is as well. Great price for the amount, you can taste the clove but that’s where the magic comes from, clean ingredients like 👍🏼 butter

Baby started teething at 2 months old and this is only safe thing for that age. Worked very well and still use now he's 18 months and on his last tooth. Also lasts a long time, worth every penny.

The Punkin Butt teething oil is so soothing and effective. It also freshens your baby's breathe. I would highly recommend.
