The best pocket knife I've ever owned.
This is my favorite knife. I have knives ranging from under $10 to $250. My Kershaw Leek is the one I trust and carry. This is a fantastic knife and has become my standard everyday carry knife. This despite being one of my mid priced knives. I was highly skeptical of the blade shape, actually buying it as I didn't have a purple knife. Turned out to be my best knife purchase ever (that's like 30 years of knives). The blade is incredibly sharp out of the box, required no tidying of the edge, unlike some knives. The flipper looks small, but works great, and the flipper shape prevents snagging on anything in my experience. The strangeish blade shape allows for extreme precision, one simply slides the index finger along the spine towards the tip. And the tip lock (which I think dictates the Leek blade shape) is extremely useful. I've been injured by knives opening in my pocket (I'm looking at you Cold Steel and your backlock). I am completely confident my Leek won't betray me. I trust it so much that I sleep with it clipped on every night.

Great affordable EDC or collection piece, quality kershaw product
Yet another leek purchased, yet another smile on my face. I've always wanted this particular model the anodized purple is truly a work of art but is more magenta in person, still looks very cool. Sharp out of the box, can be turned into a razor easily with a sharpening. Speedsafe assisted opening is smooth, study and consistent frame lock. Tip lock is a cool function though I tend not to use it because it defeats the purpose of an assisted opening knife and it is a little rough to slide the tip lock. The clip of the leek also shows about a 1/4" of the knife while carried which is not optimal for me. I've actually had my stainless 1660 fall out of my back pocket while driving. Other then the tip lock and the pocket clip this is a great affordable EDC or collection piece and a quality product from Kershaw and Ken Onion.

Cool little blade.
I got mine in Purple. I like knives and I'll always be a Prince fan! Good sturdy little knife. Very sharp. Locks well. The tip is very fine so I wouldn't use it for prying anything open. This is in my daily carry rotation and the purple color and finish are nice. Good for a main blade or a back up. I like the open assist. Flips right open cleanly. Has a safety lock to prevent pocket opening. I don't use the blade safety lock and carry this clipped on the inside edge of either front jeans or shorts pocket and have never had it open accidentally. It appears to be USA made. Great for any collection.

Six star knife!
This knife is perfect. I've carry a knife every day. I've carried dozens of knives over the years, from cheapo to expensive, and this knife is far and away the best knife I've carried. It arrived incredibly sharp, and in my experience the sharper knives the faster they dull. This knife has kept its edge for a remarkably long time. There is just enough assist to always pop the knife fully open. The safety/lock stays positively locked when it's engaged. If there was a single flaw in this knife, it's that a little extra care must be taken while folding when compared with some other knives I've owned. It's worth every penny and I'd rate it six stars if I could. You won't be disappointed!

VERY SOLID KNIFE THAT'S MADE IN THE USA!
I bought this for my wife as a gift for Christmas, the fact in came in the color purple made it ideal for her. It deploys fairly easily with just a finger. It has an excellent blade with a solid body. Not overly large so it can be concealed rather easily. It also has a decent locking feature which helps prevent it from opening in your pocket (or purse). It holds an edge very well, rarely needs sharpening unless you are careless of what you cut with it. Kershaw makes a quality knife for a very reasonable price , considering it is made in the USA. Highly recommended.

Great EDC knife!
I am a real fan of this knife. I have it in orange and bronze, and bought the purple one for my wife. She was originally kind of afraid of my knife because of its assisted opening, but after trying it a couple of times she really liked it. That’s why I bought her one. She keeps it in her hiking pack and uses it all of the time. It’s sharp tip doesn’t make it the sturdiest knife, but so long as you take care of it and don’t abuse it, it should last quite a long time. One thing I really like about this knife is its double locking feature. By that, I mean you can lock it so it will not accidentally open in your pocket or pack, and then once open, it has a liner lock. It is lightweight and feels pretty good in my hands. Highly recommended!

Beautiful knife
Pros: *Kershaw blades are great- very sharp and strong. *Easy to open and close, but won't close unless you want it to. *Handle is a really pretty purple color. Very nice looking knife. *Handle has a soft texture to it. The texture, along with the shape of the handle, make it comfortable to hold. *The knife's weight feels good. Not too heavy and not too light. No cons at this time.
