Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot 6-Qt, Polished Surface, Rice Cooker

The Instant Pot Stainless Steel insert fit my Instant Pot Duo Crisp 6L without any problems and is now something I use all the time. Not sure why some reviewers mention issues — mine works exactly as expected.

This is a good quality pot. Nice and solid, and cleans up easily. Pay attention that it says it's not for other brands than Instant Pot. Three years ago when I bought mine, it did not say that. In fact, people were saying they used it in their other pressure cookers. All this time I thought my Nesco pressure cooker was no good, because it could not hold a seal. After replacing two seals which I had only used a few times each, I gave up and stopped using my Nesco. Recently I bought a Fagor. Same problem. All this time I thought it was faulty seals. Now I realize it was because the pot didn't fit properly. (They look identical, so I thought it was fine.) Since I don't like to use non-stick, I had never tried to use the pots that came with either pressure cooker. Sure enough, I got out the Fagor nonstick insert, tested it with the seal that I thought was ruined, and it worked! Now I wish I had bought the Instant Pot pressure cooker in the first place instead of the Nesco. I would have been happy for three years. (Until I was tossing some food from the pot out for my chickens, dropped the pot, and ruined it because now it is dented. Fortunately it did not land on a chicken!) But this pot is way better quality than the ones that come standard with either the Nesco or the Fagor. And I have read that the Fagor offers a stainless steel pot, but that it is thin quality. I wish manufacturers would make interchangeable pots. They must do it on purpose, because the difference is undetectable visually. So, if you have electric pressure silicone gasket failure, and gaskets failing to hold a seal, you may be using the wrong insert.

It came quickly! As I ordered two other items from Instant Pot, it was new in box and in another packing box. I ordered the Round Cook Pan with silicone cover and removable divider. It too was new in package and in excellent condition. Highly recommend both 👍🏻

Perfect replacement , my last one I forgot to empty out the rice and it got mold. Functions good and easy to clan even with sticky food. Would purchase again when needed.

Also good for storage when you want to refrigerate after food has cooled down and ready to save refrigerated.

I like this new sturdy inner pot, but I took off a star because it didn’t have the cup and liter markings like my original 6 quart one had (the one that came with my Instant Pot) which were incredibly helpful. Also, the pot is shaped slightly differently; fits my Instant Pot but I actually bought this to put in an old but good rice cooker. My original Instant Pot inner pot had somewhat fit in the rice cooker, but this one won’t even go in. So there’s definitely a little bit of a difference. Not necessarily a bad thing though as long as you’re just using it for the 6 quart Instant Pot. I just put my older inner pot in the rice cooker, but now I don’t have the cup markings on my new inner pot. Other than the minimal markings, I’m happy with the sturdy new stainless steel to cook in.

I’m very happy with this replacement part. It’s just like the one I was missing. Couldn’t be happier!

Zu Anfang dachte ich ist ein zusätzlicher Topf eigentlich überflüssig. Aber schnell wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt. Es ist einfach unheimlich praktisch! Ist der eine Topf noch in der Spülmaschine, wird einfach der zweite hervorgeholt und schon kann es los gehen. Auch bei aufwändigeren Gerichten ist es super praktisch. Statt den Topf zwischen einzelnen Schritten spülen zu müssen, kann der erste bereits kochen während im zweiten Topf schon alles weitere vorbereitet wird. ZB kann man Fleisch schmoren und anschließend die Gemüsebeilage garen, während man das Fleisch schneidet und eine Sauce vorbereitet. Durch den fliegenden Wechsel verliert man kaum Zeit. Die Töpfe selbst sind original Instant Pot. Sie sind aus pflegeleichtem Edelstahl und haben im Inneren die bekannte Skala. Sie passen perfekt in den IP 6qt. Oh als Ersatz oder Ergänzung - die Anschaffung lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wir haben noch einen zusätzlichen im Keller stehen - für alle Fälle.

Övriga recensioner stämmer väl. Den passar inte exakt till Crockpot Express men den fungerar att använda ändå. Bra kvalitet i övrigt. Edit: Efter en tids användning så kan jag konstatera att den inte alls fungerar lika bra som originalet eftersom den är för liten och släpper ut ånga vilket ibland gör det omöjligt för maskinen att uppnå önskat tryck och resulterar i felkod E6. Det gör oxå att saker enkelt bränns vid i botten och den blir extremt jobbig att diska. Inget bra alternativ för tryckkokning helt enkelt.
