Laptop runs like brand new.
Expected item on a sunday but delivered on monday. Not a biggie. I like how it came in a box inside a box. Pretty well protected. The battery is exactly what I expected. This is my first time installing a laptop battery. It was pretty basic/easy to do it. The only thing that I had trouble with is plugging the battery wire to the laptop. It was may 5cm off. Nevertheless, I saved money from not bringing my laptop to a technician. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Excellence achieved
The replacement battery is exactly the same as the stock battery that came with your laptop. It’s easy to install, and as I just found out, the 12-month warranty is the best part. My battery started acting crazy last week and wouldn’t fully charge. I contacted the seller on November 27 @ 1:10am and heard back from them @ 8:48pm the same day. The new battery was sent in the early evening on November 28 and was in my hands the next day! If you need a replacement battery for any of the devices listed, you won’t find a better seller than ZTHY Tech!

Very easy Swap out, works perfectly. 8 days later battery failed.
What a pleasant surprise this was a very easy swap out. Unlike the A company Dell makes it very easy to open up their laptops. The battery is right there no need to remove anything else. Just pull the battery cable, loosen the one screw holding the battery in place. Remove the battery cable from the old battery and install it on the new battery. Drop the new battery in, attach the one screw (supplied with replacement battery) connect the cable to the laptop and you are good to go. I pretty much followed the guidelines letting the new battery drop to the 10% range before charging up to the low 90% range. They say this improves its life and run times. My laptop can now go almost 2 days between charges (not 100% use) where with the old battery it was just a few hours between charges. The bigger improvement was changing out the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU while I had the back off. This only required removing 7 screws lift the fan out of the way and lift the cooling heatsink off the cpu and gpu. Dell had put way to much thermal paste to begin with and it was almost rock hard. I cleaned that up and added the proper amount of new thermal paste on the cpu and gpu and reassembled everything. Now the laptop runs much cooler than before. It's almost like I got a new laptop. ********EDIT********* I installed this battery on June 15th and all was good until June 23rd when the battery failed and my laptop would not boot even when plugged into my charger. So I pulled this battery and installed my old OEM dell battery and plugged my laptop into the charger. My laptop fired up immediately. Clearly this replacement battery failed 7 1/2 days. I'd give it 0 stars but cannot.

Laptop useful off the power cord again
Ordered this battery for my Dell 15-5567 in which the battery usage was down to about 20 minutes before it would die. I have to say, I thought the original Dell battery would last longer than it did. It's only about 2 years old. The battery installation was more complicated than the last time I did this on an old Toshiba laptop that had a separate battery compartment accessible from the back of the case. Go to Youtube and watch one of the videos on how to do it. About 20 screws to remove on the case, pull out the CD tray, then carefully pry off the case. A few more screws to remove that hold the battery in place. Detach a couple of cables (look closely at the video on this). I also had to remove the hard drive to get the last corner holding the battery in. Then remove the battery cable from the old battery and reattach it to the new one. Reassemble everything and snap the case back on. Works perfectly and now is back to being able to use the laptop off power cable the same as when I originally bought it.

Battery "lasted" less than 5 months, but vendor replaced!
Update to review below: Changed from 1 star to 4 stars out of 5. Vendor replaced battery after reporting issue. So far the replacement has been working great. If it continues to be OK after 5 months, will update to 5 stars. --------------------- Ordered and installed in November 2021. Easy to install, no issues there. And the battery life was 100% with the battery health showing "Excellent" in Dell Power Manager. Fast forward 5 months later. Laptop had minimal use, user had main PC at office and only used laptop when working from home (not often) or around the warehouse. This morning, noticed reported error from laptop. Battery displayed 2% available and only plugged-in (not charging), yet health still showed Excellent. Tried different outlet and charger, same problem. Reinstalled original OEM battery (replaced due to battery health at 50% "Fair"). Battery charged to 100% no problem and lasts unplugged for over 3 hours. "New" battery from this vendor did not work out unfortunately, and we've ordered 3rd party batteries from different vendors on Amazon throughout the years for different Dell laptops which worked out - so this was a shame.

Great replacement for the original battery
I was kind of concerned with buying an after-market battery as it appears my Alienware laptop can detect non-Dell batteries. The battery arrived with a 25% charge and after a few hours was charged completely. I haven't tested how long it will last but given that my laptop is for gaming I don't expect it to last more than 2-3 hours. It's just nice not having the dead battery warning anymore. The installation is pretty straight forward. On my laptop (Alienware M17), you remove the bottom cover by removing two small screws and slide the cover off toward the front. Then remove the two screws holding in the battery, unplug the old battery and plug in the new one. I was pleasantly surprised that after installing the battery the system recognized it and didn't throw any warnings about it being a non-Dell

Purchased to replace a swollen OEM battery. Battery received and installed correctly in my laptop. I left the laptop off and plugged in to charge the battery to 100% (I want to say it was charging at this point, as the battery LED on my Latitude 5400 was flashing, I think). I turned on the laptop and used it unplugged (confirming the battery works and is connected properly) until about 5% to calibrate the new battery. I plugged it back in, but it is not charging and stuck at 5%. Suspect defective battery, as I have tried: -Different A/C battery options in BIOS -Multiple OEM power adapters, including barrel plug and USB-C, with different wattages -Re-seated the internal battery cables. After this, it seemed to charge for a couple minutes (back up to 9%) before stopping again. -Tried my old battery, and it is charging fine Leaving a negative review as the "Product Support" option only gives me some "Troubleshoot on your own" AI-generated nonsense instead of customer support. Hoping to get a replacement, but I only have the refund option via Amazon.

Another update: It was less than a year so I had to calmly pm them about the issue. They got back to me and exchanged a new battery sent to me. The new battery actually looks like better build quality and materials. I really like this upgrade, I think they improved their quality through this time. I am now happy and will update you guys with how long it lasts. Update!!! It died only after three charges!!! My Alienware says battery ceased and failed to work! I barely used this, only to test VR portably a couple times. I came back to my girlfriends house which I’m rarely at to check out my laptop and it’s already dead! Don’t buy this!! I wish I didn’t throw away my OEM battery! Old review: Works fine but the battery lasts less than an hour on normal power settings! I own an Alienware 17 and the original battery used to last 2+ hours while gaming. Don’t buy this unless your battery is fried.

Received it in a couple days and was not expense for the replacement model. Replaced a Dell battery with this, was very easy to swap out, little tools come in handy. Employee is happy now!
