My new favorite coat
Nice coat at a great price as this brand APTRO is the only one to buy if you want this look and style coat at this affordable price. I like this coat enough that I bought the green and camel colors with no hesitation. You can tell this APTRO apart from the other imitations by its 80% wool not 30% like the others state also the inner liner diamond pattern. I initially bought a large going from the sizing charts yes charts as at the time I bought they had two in the add that read differently. I returned the large for a medium that fits perfect. I added a picture of the size chart from the add that fit me best with my 19inch shoulders 43inch chest 23inch arm length. The medium arm length reads 25.5 which is fine as it still looks good and you can always have them shortened at any local alteration shop as this coat is worth investing in it. They sell coat sleeve cuff extenders that can give you extra length if needed and keeps the weather from entering the sleeves which I am having done for the extra weather protection since I don't need more length, I will have them sewn further back in the sleeves not visible. Measure correctly as their chest measure example shows to low on the body and be more concerned with shoulder and chest fit as you can more easily deal with the sleeve's length if needed, yes for extra cost but if you want this look it's just what you will have to do.

EXCELLENT! 💯
I bought this coat for my son to help health and tell you to look like a young man, and it fits him handsomely. I bought it for him to look professional and business like, and this coat helps him do just that. If he didn't mind wearing the same coat as his brother, I would have bought him one too LOL! But you know how that is. Great coat. I have given my opinion to others that look for a Pea for a gentleman.

Warm, thick and flexible jacket
I ordered a large with the zip up neck insert. The most important thing about fit for this jacket is that runs a little tighter around the waist but wide in the shoulders and sleeves - a fitted cut. I've had troubles in the past with my shoulders being a Le to fit in peacoats, but I feel like I have full range of motion in my arms, so it doesn't bunch up at the shoulders when I'm reading for the steering wheel. In fact, the material is so forgiving that even if it's a little tight in the midsection, it stretches just enough to not be uncomfortable while seated and driving the car. The material seems quite warm - comparable to my previous peacoat, which I wore with a sweater outside in Wisconsin winters. I expect that with a sweater, this will be warm enough to be outside for an hour or three in about 15 degree weather. The style of the jacket is quite nice with a few issues. The detachable zipper neck is about 20 inches in circumference, several inches wider than the average neck. I'm probably not going to be able to use that without it constantly pushing against my beard and chin and opt for a scarf instead, unfortunately. In addition, the lapels aren't ironed very well. They stick straight out instead of laying flat. I'll have to try ironing them myself to get them fixed. Thirdly, the outer pockets were cheaply designed. The right breast pocket is completely fake (flap only), the left breast zipper pocket is fake, so the only real outer breast pocket is the upper left one. None of the outer pockets, including the hand pockets are able to button shut because they just sewed the buttons to the cover flaps themselves instead of making button holes in the flaps - a bit problematic if you like to have your belongings secured in your pockets. Aside from these issues, the style of the jacket is quite fashionable in a nautical sort of way. The hand pockets are at a comfortable place to keep your hands warm and the inner pockets are spacious. I'm guessing this jacket will last me about half as long as my last peacoat due to the cheaper materials, but after trying on a half dozen of similarly priced peacoats, this is probably the best quality you can find for the price (about $70).

Classy apparel
my husband loves this coat he heats great compliments on it. The color is very nice, the weight is thick but the fit is what really makes the coat work.

Very nice jacket looks and feels great
I ordered one size larger than the chart, and the fit is excellent. I love the feel of the wool, very soft and comfortable. The quilted liner is great for warmth. The only negative is that one pocket has a hole where it didn't get sewn. It can easily be repaired with my handy-dandy sewing kit.

First jacket great. 2nd not so much…,
Wish I could give this jacket five stars. It’s the 2nd time I’ve purchased this jacket. The first one lasted for a few years with heavy wear and was great! Do warm and comfortable and loved the style. Bought another one 4 months ago after the first one got worn down. Already 2 of the main buttons have come off. One just fell off without me even buttoning it. I don’t know if the quality went down or this is a one off but I’m not happy about it. Expected better after such a good experience with the first one.

Warm winter
What a coat... warm and very nice. Just as it is described in the ad, this coat hits the mark. I recommend this to anyone looking for a pea coat.

Sizes, colors and some details
Well, I'm trying out different brands and this one looks the best quality wise. Sizing on the other hand looks completely inconsistent. I'm 45" in waist, size chart shows M for 45-46" and guess what. I'm missing 2,5" just to zip up not mentioning comfort. I like tight fit so 3" should be enough. Size chart shows jump by 1" between sizes so to get 3" more in waist I should take XXL. I'll see then. I have around 44" in chest and it seems this coat is also around 44" but it's hard to measure that. In case of chest you need some more space for movement so it's still about 2" too small for me. I'll post update when I get XXL. When I measured it flat, it looks like M is actually 41" in waist (buttoned) and around 44" in chest measured from outside. Completely different from size chart. UPDATE: I ordered two more. Navy XXL and Black XL. As it turns out, size differences are quite significant between them and I was not sure if XXL is the right size for me. Most of the time I simply wear single shirt under coat so I don't need too much extra space inside for thicker clothes. I don't like to wear too much and I prefer warmer coat on single shirt than a few layers of clothing. It means that person of my size that wants some extra should consider bigger size. So the XXL looked ok but it's slightly too big. Sleeves are quite wide, it's quite wide in chest, it's even a bit too big in waist for me. From outside it's 50" chest, 46" waist which clearly shows that it's more like slim fit than regular. From zipper it looks like I have 2" extra where 1" should be best for me. On the other hand buttons seem to be tighter and here it looks quite good fit both to wear it on single shirt or two layers of not too thick meterial. Not perfect, just good. Then I tried XL to compare, maybe it's going to be better, after all XXL was slightly too big for me. Well, it's hard to say. Measuring the same way (from outside edge to edge * 2) it has 47" in chest and 44" in waist. Well, for me it looks like I'd need something in between. Chest is ok, 47" would be good but additional inch in waist to get 45" would be better. Of course my manual measurements are not perfect. I don't stretch it out when measuring so it's tad smaller than actual measurement but also I measure from outside so it's tad bigger. It all should add up to size similar to what you get inside the coat. I think they just need smallest steps between sizes and surely more options for bigger sizes on US market as I'm not that big and the biggest size they have is just slightly too big for me. Notice that XXL is much bigger in chest but only slightly bigger in waist, it's a bit inconsistent. Many people asked about color, so I also made some photos. You can decide which one looks better. Navy and black are simply two shades of black. Black itself is warmer, quite typical black and navy is black with slightly blue tint to it, you can only see it in bright light. One more detail, Navy XXL has bigger Aptro badge inside, Black XL has just small badge on collar. You can see how XL and XXL look on me. Biggest difference is in sleeve. Weirdly enough XL looks like it fits better even though it's a bit too small.
