Does this cartridge fit the hansgrohe pharo shower panel moonlight 26510xx1/265112xx1?

Hello, This cartridge fits that panel.

Is this made of brass (as in description) or plastic (as in photo) ? I have seen different photos of the same part number on different sites.

plastic as in the picture. Inside is probably brass. Works perfectly as long as you match model #

Anyone else find that this cartridge obstructs hot water flow? Other shower in the house is abundant, but shower with this piece struggles...

Just used this cartridge to replace one that was almost 20 years old. The new cartridge also had a lower water flow rate. SOLUTION: The water flow was great when I first turned on the valve but slowed as the water warmed up. Only thing I could figure was the hot water was too hot and the valve would only allow so much cold water (we live in San Diego area where the cold water is not really that cold) through it before it started turning down the volume of hot water in order to meet the temperature that was set. So I turned down the temperature on our hot water heater a little and it fixed the volume problem. Great flow rate now. It also made the volume in our other shower with the same valve much better. And it also stopped the vibration noise we had experienced in the other shower that I've heard others comment about.. Hope this helps.

I have a Thermobalance 3 valve is this the right replacement?

I believe so, but the best thing to do is go to the Hansgrohe website and pull down the specs for the valve. It will give you the precise model number for the thermostat cartridge.
