Upvc Flat Plastic Board White Gloss - 125mm Wide x 1 Metre Long

Good quality, plastic trim that did the job required. It's about 10mm thick, so has some strength although would bend if not supported. Easy to saw with a hacksaw of fine toothed saw, so can be adjusted to the size required. One long edge has a rounded bezel to it which was nice but something to consier if an infill panel on both sides, as you may need to saw that edge off. It's white, but not a brilliant white, so it did look slightly cream next to the white tiles where it was used and the sealant around it, so something to consider.

Good will use again

I both this to cut to size and use it as a mount for house numbers . It was exactly as I had hoped and made a great job as i had hoped, very reasonable price, good delivery and well packaged

I purchased these boards going by the picture on the web site, which shows a slab of UPVC with square edges. The ones that arrived had bullnose (rounded edges) on one side, flat on the other. They are called soffit boards but I am not sure if they are. I contacted the seller and was told it was normal to have the bullnose (rounded edge) on one side - I don't think so. I see that they have not changed the picture on the web site yet. My boards were also not quite the same thickness as advertised - a little short of 9mm and the width was only 123mm, so a little short. I have just tried to fit these to line part of the wall near my front door in an attempt to keep the mould down which appears there as it does not seem to stick on UPVC. I found that the boards were bowed upwards along the length and I was unable to glue them to the wall with sealant as usual. They had been kept flat on the floor since arrival but the bowing was not noticed until installation. I have weighted them down in the middle for an overnight fix, hoping they will straighten but not confident that UPVC will act like wood in this respect. I will probably have to resort to screwing them in position using wall plugs. It is just as well the boards will not be visible as mostly hidden behind a shoe cupboard. In addition, the boards are not made perfectly flat as the end with the bullnose dips somewhat which means the boards will not fit flush with the wall at the bullnose side. I am not impressed with this product at all and the seller gives a poor description of the product, hence only 3 stars.

Looks amazing at top end of my bath. As a shelf. Easy to cut with my multitool.
