Ok so I bought this mini pc to connect to my main tv downstairs. I already have a Beelink mini PC in my bedroom and wanted one downstairs to use for media streaming and general use on our main tv. It arrived quickly thanks to Amazon prime and well packaged. This particular Beelink mini PC appraled to me because it has a quiet run fan and as I'm using this as a media streamer this was very important to me. I have a NAS drive at home and use it for plex media streaming so having this Beelink GK55 Mini PC means I can manage my libraries easily from my main 55" TV in my living room, I love it. I have this connection directly to my router with an Ethernet cable but have also tried the WiFi and there is no difference in download speeds, I just prefer to have ethernet for streaming as its a bit more stable. Performance wise I have no complaints at all, the intel processor can more than handle all my needs and thanks to the 8GB RAM everything runs smoothly. The 256GB SSD is big enough for what I need it for but you can also add a 2.5" internal drive if you wish as this mini pc comes with everything you need to do so (apart from the extra drive of course). My daughter likes to play Roblox every now and then so she tested this game on this Beelink GK55 Mini Pc and I'm happy to say it worked perfectly fine with no problems at all. Streaming wise this mini PC is great. I use it with Plex and have a lot of Full HD media which stream very nicely with no lag or problems at all. I also watch a lot of YouTube videos and have played quite a bit of 4K YouTube content which looks lovely on my 4K TV with this Beelink Mini PC and I'm happy to say the fan noise is very very minimal. All in all I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and for the following reasons I have to give it 5 stars: Compact size Quiet fan Fast processor and RAM Good size and speed 256GB SSD Good expansion options Good connection options Smooth 4K Streaming Can handle light games Perfect streaming Mini PC

Bought this to be a music storage and streaming device, and for general browsing. Fitted a 480g Western Digital SSD to increase capacity; this is very easy to do as the removable base has a SATA adapter built-in. Setting up was very simple, usual windows 10. It's whisper quiet, and neither the unit nor the power supply gets warm even when running heavy content in multiple tabs/apps. If this is reliable long-term I will most likely get another one for our shed!

IT WORKED FOR A WHILE, BUT THEN STARTED TO GO WRONG THROWING UP ERROR MESSAGES. I ONLY USED IT FOR ZOOM MEETINGS. NOTHING ELSE. FINALLY AFTER LESS THAN A YEAR IT DISPLAYED THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. I RETURNED IT ON THE 30 JULY WITH A RECEIPT AND NEARLY TWO WEEKS LATER NO REFUND OF OVER £200. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SELLER AND ADVISE OTHER CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE A BETTER QUALITY COMPUTER. RUBBISH ITEM RUBBISH AFTER SALES SERVICE. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

So fast, clean of junky programs, reliable and uses only 12 watts. Ps: when you first set it up DONT connect the internet or sign up to Microsoft !!

Great product. I am not using it for gaming, but runs very efficiently for a mini PC and streaming is very good quality

Worked fine for 11 months then it started turning off eratically and in the middle of work. Cannot be relied upon. Amazon has been excellent with return and refund.

Don't play games on it but I can say it's perfect for controling a telescope and cameras with jest a battery supply in the field.

I purchased this to replace an older NUC that had started to act up. On getting the system and booting it up I went through the installation process. This took 4 hours and failed due to a bad image. Meaning I had to start again using a USB stick this was slightly quicker. On contacting support they were useless telling me that the drivers on the web for the GK55 are a different version to what I have (V2 version) and as such are not compatible. They don't have drivers for V2 either or a good image to install so not very good it also took some time for a response. I know PC's so I can find most drivers I needed but it's poor support. The system itself is OK though beware it has a bright white light for the power button that is annoying at night. I have put a box in front of it to block it from annoying me too much. The fan does make some noise but it's not too noticeable. I also found the power cable short compared to others I have had but this is not a deal breaker. Overall it will do what I need it to but I don't think I would buy a beelink again
