I was honestly surprised by how well these worked. I had a fungus gnat problem in one of my indoor plants, and within a short time these traps were covered with gnats. They’re super easy to place in the soil, don’t take up much space, and the bright yellow color attracts the bugs really well. The adhesive is very sticky and continues working without drying out quickly. If you’re dealing with fungus gnats, I definitely recommend giving these a try. Just remember that the traps catch the adult gnats—you’ll still want to treat the soil if you want to eliminate the problem completely. Great value for the price!

We had a horrible fungus gnat problem this winter. I purchased these sticky pads when I ran out of another brand that was no longer available. These worked just as well. These didn't get rid of the gnats by themselves. What really did the trick was Arber Bio Insecticide. All natural insecticide that has a plant stimulator in it, as well. The house plants love it! It kills the gnat eggs in the soil. The sticky pads are ineffective for killing the eggs in the soil. You have to reapply the Arber solution every 5-7 days. I didn't see a dramatic decrease for about four months. If an application was delayed the gnats started to increase. The yellow sticky pads are handy to give you an idea of how many gnats are still around. Gnats can come with potting soil so it's good to use the Arber right away as a prevention when you repot your plants.

I'm giving it a review as I bought the same thing my daughter did. I don't seem to have any fruit flies or gnat because I have 3 out and there isn't anything on it. I bought them because at my daughter's home she put several in her plants and they were loaded with little gnats. I'm glad in both instances. These are really sticky but the bottom part that you hold does a great job of keeping them upright. I liked the two different designs and plan on putting them on my outdoor plants too. I think that they are durable due to the plastic bottom and also versatile because they can go indoors and outdoors. I may even see if they can handle the chicken coop flies as well. They are a bright yellow so you can instantly see where they are so that you don't touch them and get your hand sticky. When I have gone through the 36 pack, I will be buying them again.

These work as expected and I’m seeing less gnats. I like the cute mushroom look but it’s really annoying to have to pop out the tiny cut out pieces. Also, the piece that goes into the dirt is a little flimsy so it’s ends up getting stuck on my fingers or hands as I try to get them in the dirt. It stays pupright once in the dirt, though. No odor that I noticed

2nd larger order for trap set. I got a smaller amount first but I can tell these will be handy to have around. These traps have helped me control gnats from a new plant that got out of control and spread. They are easy to use, remove and large enough without being annoying. After treating the larva the adults flew out and got caught. I am 85% to full resolution.

Works great and easy to use. Small enough to be useful even when propagating tiny plants. Catches the annoying gnats that like to hang out around house plants. Great value as there’s lots in a package, too!

Great buy!!!!! I became an indoor plant parent this summer and was thoroughly enjoying all my houseplants UNTIL I realized fungus gnats were a part of the package. I researched and tried all the DIY sprays first (white vinegar, mild dish soap, etc.). When that didn’t work, I tried Neem oil. That didn’t work. It was almost like the gnats saw it as a challenge and so their species evolved to be immune to everything I was trying to kill them with. I was at my wits end. Then I stumbled upon this product, read the reviews and decided to try it especially since it was so economically affordable. OH EM GEE. Let me tell you, it was so incredibly satisfying to see so many dying gnats on the trap after mere minutes!!! And I’m glad to report that the population in my house is close to extinction!!! Something to note when peeling off the protective film, use the tab to SLOWLY go around the shape until you meet the other side of the tab. The first time I opened a trap, I used the tab to slowly pull straight up and it tore, making it very hard to get the entire film off.
