Tried many different products. This one worked like a charm. Even trying to unscrew the lid off after soaking it in hot water. Very happy. Easy to handle and easy on the wrist. The lid came unscrewed in an easy motion. It is very stable and does not move around and durable.

I'm an old guy and this is the style I grew up with in the 50's. They quit making them and nothing else is near as good. I have been looking for one all my adult life and now, finally, the old is reintroduced as new. These are smaller and lighter (not as sturdy) as the one's in the 50's but they work as well and should last. It is amazing how easy it is to open a difficult top when you don't have to try to grip AND twist. The length of the handle gives nice leverage.

i saw video of a British guy testing 3 this one looked best , i having had problem and 2x i bought pickles and could not open even though i still have most strength ,the first punched hole and screwdriver , 2nd decided to get tool came today even though it was after midnight . made lunch and opened jar 90% easier the rubber helpers did not work . so do be careful it can slip

Works great. I have weak hands and have a hard time opening jars. This worked wonderfully. Very little effort needed.

It has opened several smaller jars one large jar it couldn't. Quality is of concern. We will see if it holds up or breaks.

Just delivered 30 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to write this review. I've been battling a pickle jar for 3 days. Sweet gerkin the pickle is mine! I can understand why some people say it doesn't work at all because you gotta figure out how it works. The lid grasping jaws don't go under the lid, their gripping teeth go into the side of the lid. As soon as I figured that out the lid was off with very little effort at all. I'm in my 60's and over my lifetime I've abused my hands so opening jars is getting more difficult with each passing month. So glad I bought this and took a few minutes to figure it out. Well built, easy to use, and I can't think of a reason I would even have to worry about cleaning it. Time to have another pickle!

Easy to use. My husband and I are getting older and there are some jars we simply struggle with. This is adjustable so it fits most lids (we have not found one that it did not work on), it grips well, and provides the leverage needed to open particularly tough lids. It works much better than those plastic or rubber grippers. Note: it has “teeth” as part of the gripping mechanism and leaves a mark on the lid, not overtly noticeable, but if you have a decorative jar it will leave a mark on the lid. I highly recommend this product.
