I actually ended up picking this up simply because I can mount it vertically on my camera ON a gimbal. The app is okay at best, it doesn't weigh much and the clarity is awesome. Its super easy to use right out of the box and I had this set up in less than 5 mins. Compared to the parrot pro this thing is awesome. Its a plastic design but still feels pretty good. I can use a 20mm lens on a crop sensor camera and not see any of the teleprompter.

Easy to use and convenient. I have a bigger one but I was needing one that I can use while moving around with my camera. So far so good

I guess it's easy to install for some people but it seems completely impossible to install on my Sony ZV-E10. How would I know? The instructions just show a picture of it magically attached to the camera in the next frame... And one of the slide rails for camera phone mounting was broken out of the box. edit: apparently you need a 40.5mm to 49mm adapter ring to attach to this camera. I still have no idea how that will help me or how this thing will attach to the lens. Maybe it will be obvious once that's in hand. I'm leaving it at 1 star for the complete absence of any useful installation information.

I love this little teleprompter. We have a full greenscreen studio with a teleprompter at the office, since Covid, I've been recording training sessions from home. The intial poor quality was a stark change from what we had been doing. So I started putting together a home version. This teleprompter fit the bill very nicely. I use an old iphone for the teleprompter and my current phone as the video. I also attached a shotgun mic to the cold shoe attachment point on top. It's worked out great. Pros: - It works! - small footprint - when I'm not using it, it takes up very little space. - Cold Shoe attachment point - remote control (bluetooth) stops/starts the teleprompter just fine. Cons: - Its a little finicky to set up. But every one I've used has that problem. - weak camera/phone attachment for recording. (I really wish they had used the same setup as for the teleprompter phone.) - It could really use a bit of standoff between the main unit and the tripod. I ended up buying one. Without it, you can't really use an attachment plate on a tripod as it blocks the release levers. (it didn't work with any of my tripods.) - The remote control ONLY starts/stops the teleprompter. It would be nice if you could rewind or restart. - The remote makes an audible click regardless of which kind of mic I use. Its subtle, so not a deal breaker, but I do notice it while editing. - Teleprompter software is REALLY basic. You can't really import an existing file. You can cut and paste plain text. But editing within the software is tough. when at the bottom of my script, I can't see the text as the onscreen keyboard covers it up. The workaround is to add a bunch of carriage returns at the end of the script to keep text above the keyboard. Not a show stopper, but it was a pain.

This has saved me so many video takes!! It is so easy to set up, and the ability to use a phone or DSLR camera is amazing. The design is small and can just sit on my table top. The teleprompter software is easy to use and quick to download. I use it at work and my kids use it to make (very professional looking) videos!!

This teleprompter works perfectly for what I bought it for. The letters are clear and easy to read, and it works great with both my camera and lens. The quality feels solid, and setup was simple. Definitely worth it

Pros: Very sturdy Cons: Instructions are virtually useless. The remote really doesn’t work. There is mention of an app to use with the teleprompter but the QR code takes you to a messaging app instead of a teleprompter app. I went ahead and purchased “Teleprompter” from the Apple App Store and essentially have little to no need for this product. Only keeping it to have the option of using my DSLR camera. Since I have an iPhone 12 Pro, the front facing camera is just as good as my DSLR.
