I recently ordered the India Gate Premium Basmati Rice (5 kg), and after cooking with it for a few weeks, I’m quite happy with the overall experience. The grains are long, slender, and stay fluffy and separate after cooking — exactly what you’d expect from a good quality basmati rice. Pros: • Aromatic and flavorful: The fragrance while cooking is rich and pleasant, which makes it perfect for biryanis, pulao, and even plain steamed rice. • Consistent quality: All the grains were intact and unbroken, indicating a good processing and packaging standard. • Good value for the price: At €14.97 for 5 kg (after promo), the price is reasonable compared to similar quality rice in Europe. • Great packaging: It arrived in sturdy packaging and stayed fresh. Cons: • Slightly pricey compared to local rice varieties – but worth it if you’re looking for authentic Indian basmati. • Needs proper soaking: It cooks best when soaked for 30 minutes, which may be a hassle if you’re in a hurry. Overall, this rice delivers on its promise of premium quality. If you’re someone who enjoys Indian-style meals regularly, this is a reliable pantry staple. Overall I rate this 5 out of 5.

Souris est de très bonne qualité, j'ai testé beaucoup de riz jusqu'à présent et celui-ci est le meilleur en terme de rapport qualité-prix !! J'ai acheté habituellement chez l'épicerie asiatique, mais j'achèterai que celui-là à partir de maintenant à la cuisson nous avons un riz qui ne colle pas du tout, de bonne taille et un goût parfumé. Si vous aimez le riz dans les restaurants indiens c'est celui-ci qui vous faut c'est exactement le même. La cuisson est très rapide en 10 minutes.
