I have tested these hooks, they are just what I need for extra hanging when I go on my cruise. The magnet is very strong and should hold anything that I hang on them. So far so good.

Brought for using in cabin when on a cruise. Cabin walls are magnetic so can hange items on with the hooks. However, not a very powerful magnet and quite small, so only suitable for hanging light items om, such as a hat. I've dropped a star for that

Great magnetic and hard to pull off a surface, well machined and the hook works fine - so all good as described. My error really, I wanted these magnetic hooks for a cruise to hang stuff on the walls in the cabin and for that it is the shear weight the magnet will hold (before it slips down the wall) and that is not so great (okay to hang a shirt, but you wouldn't want to add more or something like a suit). If you were putting these hooks on the ceiling (cabin) it would work great, but for anyone buying them and planning to put them on a wall then you need to take this into account.
