Works great. I had an abdominal open surgical wound pretty large and when my wound vac would stop working we had to wet/dry pack it.

As mentioned in my title this is the same wrap they give you in the Burn Unit at a Hospital so if your looking to extend your supply this should do it.

I have been researching antibacterial bandaging since I found some at a local pharmacy and tried it on a skin infection. I was unable to purchase it again locally so went searching online. This product advertises as Kerlix AMD, which has PHMB, but when the it arrived, the package did not mention the PHMD or any antibacterial quality. It looks just like the pkg at the pharmacy that is NOT antibacterial - same brand and same exact packaging. When I looked online for the Kerlix AMD, it show a pkg with a different color and says “ AMD, Antibacterial” right on the pkg. This was not. I believe it is just regular gauze that someone mistakenly put a sticker on that labels it Kerlix AMD. I was disappointed, as I had been needing this gauze.

The products are bandages, good for a wound wrap, but not the amd Antimicrobial bandages as advertised. Covidien Ref 6715 for your research. Ref 3332 is the bandage your looking for.

This is a good product but thinner than I’m used to.

This product is shown and priced and antimicrobial but it is not. Buyer beware!
