Lightweight yet durable. Easy to use and clean. Easily accommodates skillets, stockpots, etc. Can be used to grab hot items or place a hot pan upon it.

I am using one of these near my stove - with a cast iron trivet on top of it, and one next to my sink. They are working perfectly to help keep my counter top dry (sink) and keep my hot pans off the counters. I have not set a hot pan directly on the silicone, but have used them as pot holders to move a pan from the stove top and it worked well. They are thin, and I do cook a lot with Cast Iron, so not sure they would hold up under that kind of heat. They are easy to clean but I have not had to put them in the dishwasher because they rinse off so well in the sink. Overall, these look nice and work well for what I wanted the for. Do pay attention to the size as these are small.

These are great and pretty easy to clean. Circles are kettle-sized, so i can boil water and bring the kettle to any surface to refill tea or whatever. Unexpected benefit is that the grippy surface discourages cat from throwing things on the floor, too. I think they would be improved by having a smaller, palm-sized one for handles of pots, but these were a good purchase.

I don’t know how we’ve gone all of these years without these silicone mats! My wife was always giving me grief for setting warm/hot pans and plates on the countertops or wooden tables! These mats are simple, lightweight, good quality silicone that make it simple to throw on the counter before taking the hot pans out of the oven. They conveniently come with a hole made for hanging on a hook, or you can stack them easily beside the cutting boards (this is what we do!). Great purchase! Will never be without them again!

I needed a large silicone mat to keep my oven-hot 9"x13" pans from slipping on my large trivit when slicing/cutting and serving. It's perfect! Anyway, when I was viewing options I saw that the package deal with the 2 ,each, smaller round and square ones was more economical; I purchased it. I'm glad I did as I use them often!

I purchased this Large Silicone Trivet to use as a placemat on my genuine marble tabletop. I wanted a mat that I could take a hot glass bowl of instant oatmeal out of the microwave and sit it down immediately on without endangering my tabletop. And the same goes for cold things directly out of the freezer. But many designated Silicone placemats are way to thin for that purpose whereas this Silicone privet serve my purpose very well. As you can see in the picture, the shade of gray looks nice with my table. It protects my tabletop from damage caused by heat or cold. It's large enough to set a plate on and have space left over for condiments. It's not as thick as some but seems durable enough. I do not recommend that you take a 500 degree iron skillet off the cook top and sit it immediately on this privet. I'm well pleased with this trivet.
